Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center

Past 10 years or so the medical treatment I have been given has improved a thousand times over, however, recently I tried to schedule a dental appointment. Told them I has 2 bad fillings, took a while to get an appointment but it was only for a cleaning and check up, they would decide what needed done after that. They called 6 hours before my appointment to cancel stating a staff member had to leave early. After I explained to the lady 4 times I needed an afternoon appointment, I was rescheduled for 4 months later for a cleaning. I have called Patient Rep and waiting to see how long it takes for her to contact me or if I have to show up at her office.

I have been to several VA facilities in several states and this one is not the most updated facility but it is probably one of the most efficiently run that I've been to. Appointments are quick and knowledgeable and the doctors actually check you out. If you have problems here then you probably have problems everywhere!

This is a horrible VA! I wouldn't take my dog to this VA let alone a Veteran that has served America! The employees are horribly rude act as if never wanted to be here! The woman at the front desk would not allow a veteran that had an amputation to use a power scooter! This place is dirty it needs knocked down and rebuilt! If I could I would give this place 0 stars! Our veterans deserve better than this!

Disgusting. Filthy. Rude. Obnoxious. I wouldn't think of using this place as a medical facility. This place isn't fit to treat criminals let alone our veterans. I am horrified to think that these doctors believe that they are competent enough to treat people. This isn't a Veterinary clinic.

I am very disgusted at how you all treated someone who willingly fought for our freedom sacrificed the comforts of home, and most importantly family with such disrespect and might I add disregard for any of their needs and physical ailments! Again you all are such a disgrace!!!
