We are not in a party mood. Still, we have a good time at LouVino Restaurant. I never knew hospitality is something required so much in it. Yeah, the staffs maintained an exceptional level of hospitality, one of the enviable of its class people must learn from here. What else somebody expects if the hostess treats you in a royal style. I felt the warmness, and I liked the ambiance. The wine section was a class and foods were sumptuous. It is an excellent location for a nighttime hangout.

As I was visiting friends that live in the area, I asked them for a recommendation to spend a nice evening out of the beaten path of the Indy food scene.
Warmth not only from the food, which is comfort food with a slight Southern twist, but also from the people and the location itself. I'm a potato person, so I was delighted with the amazing “loaded tots” and the duck fat fries, which are to die for. Then, the charcuterie was indeed a magnificent finger-licking smorgasbord.
To top that, a great, if not huge, selection of drinks for everybody and the cheerful staff will assist you with great pleasure and fun interaction. The bartenders are engaging and make you feel at ease instantly.
I can't wait to come back a third time to try out their brunch, which I've been told is fantastic. Being here for a week, my wife and friends made fun of me to keep returning there, but why waste time in wandering around while I have everything in one place.

We didn't try the wine so take this as a review that didn't go for the reason most people might. I did have some amazing craft beer from a european brewer but it was pretty pricey at $10-11 per bottle. We tried 4 different appetizers and our favorite was the cauliflower. I would give it a three and a half stars but Google doesn't allow for that option. I thought the food and beer was just a little too pricey but it was an enjoyable place to go.

LouVino proves to be an over-rated establishment in downtown Fishers. Went for Sunday brunch and had a reservation. Got seated quickly and hostess was friendly. Waitress was helpful but just not “on it” in several ways. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which came out after quite a wait barely lukewarm. I sent it back and when a new order came out it was still barely lukewarm and the egg which I held was on it this time. Good thing I wasn’t egg allergic. Biscuits were dry and the side of house goetta was flavorless. The other diner with me had the hash and was disappointed how mediocre it was. The coffee was good and piping hot! Plus you cannot beat a $2.00 mimosa. Might give the place one more try for lunch or dinner. Again the staff was friendly just the meal was a disappointment.
