Visited Love City Brewing after a concert at Franklin Music Hall and had a wonderful, chill time. The beers were on point and the crowd was all having a great experience. Some more food options would have been nice, but it's a minor complaint. Highly recommend a visit!
Just popped in for a quick solo beer before heading to the airport. Service was great, helped me choose between my shortlisted options - opted for the Erazorhood Hazy IPA and loved it! Would've happily stayed for more. Very comfortable, industrial-style interior. Check out the street-art on exterior side wall too!
Cool effing place, great beers and cool people pulling the taps! I just popped in on the word of a friend and I’m glad I did. $4 pints happy hour specials until 6:00!
Some excellent and somewhat unique beer options and great service. No flights offered but the friendly and helpful bartender more than made up for it by her willingness to let us sample a whole bunch. Dreamcycle and Driponomics were the two standout offerings for us.
Good beers with an interesting mix of flavors, great atmosphere, delicious food truck. We really enjoyed this place.
My now wife and I have always loved this spot--our absolute favorite local brewery with super friendly staff and great atmosphere in the spacious tasting room. Unparalleled spot in the neighborhood for a casual hang or an after work happy hour. When we were deciding on a wedding venue we reached out to see Love City's availability. The team there is absolutely incredible. Total pros, super responsive, helped us every step of the way to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. The guests had a blast and couldn't say enough good things about how cool the space was and how great the beer was. Love City will always, always be near and dear to our hearts. Whether you're looking for a spot to hang with a small group or thinking of planning a big event, we can't recommend Love City highly enough!
This brewery sits down a small road/alley. Very interesting inside as it used to be a train car repair area. Lots of exposed brick and original parts of the building still present. We stopped in and met a friendly bartender who told us about the brewery history and Philly in general. The beer was absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend!
Love City Brewing is terrific, great beer, cool rotating food truck options, and cool atmosphere. Bless my awesome bartender Cassidy, who may have been having a phenomenal day, since ABBA was playing consistently & the atmosphere created was stellar. Love the place and will definitely be back.
So I was not a huge fan of their beers; I think they're a tad bland, flavor-wise. Still better though than most other places in the city. Also, I wish they had a real menu, unfortunately, I was not there in a night with food trucks. That said, the atmosphere and the people and the vibe here is unparalleled! I loved spending time here and can't wait to come back... when there's a food truck.
This place is the definitely “hipster” but you can tell that they put effort into the industrial artsy design. You have to check out the bathrooms- I literally went from stall to stall and it felt like an eccentric art exhibit. It is very spacious and can easily fit large groups, you can eat outside food they go have a food truck parked inside but it was not amazing, and they served quality beer. I love breweries that give you an option to buy flights or smaller “taster” portions of their brews. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!
