I went to Lowe’s today to see about some doors I had delivered that were damaged. I talked with 3 different people and they were all fantastic. Very friendly. Professional. Polite. I’ve never had such AMAZING customer service at a retail store. Thank you! The only name I remember is Rob, and I believe he was the manager. One of the other associates said he was “the big boss” and that he always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy - customers and employees.
Just want to start this out saying that the Lowe’s staff has always been quick to offer help and input on home projects that I’ve done. They’re always knowledgeable on subjects and areas that I’m not as familiar with and are always patient and able to explain things in an easy to understand manor. I will continue to do business with them on all upcoming projects and completely appreciate the help!
I like Lowe's for lumber and hunting for good prices on discontinued items. The credit card gives a 2% discount at the register.
This is a nice store with a good layout and is usually well stocked. I went there for plants and the garden center was well laid out and all the plants were in great shape. The prices are a little higher here on some things than other similar stores. This is a great location and easy to find what you need.
Bought a washer from Lowes and the process seemed off from the beginning. The first worker we talked to told us that the washer was on its way already and could be delivered within a week and then when we went to go buy one the other worker told us 2-3 weeks and seems like she was placing a new order which was fine. Then I called the day before our scheduled delivery because I didn't hear anything. One person told me that it was in the back and then the next person from appliances told me that it wasen't in store yet and that there was no way it was going to be delivered. Then they went and asked someone and found out it was in the back? Just a lot of uneducated communication. Then during the delivery. They took off our door to laundry room, and then couldn't get the washer through without taking off a piece of the door trim. But they said they wouldn't do it, which was okay but they took off the door just fine? We offered to take the trim off so they could finish installation took us probably 30 seconds to take off and they said they weren't allowed to wait for that and proceeded to leave. So, we had to do all the installation but at this point in time we were fine with it because we were frustrated. The only other part is we had to go to the hardware store and buy a tool to help us correctly install washer. Very frustrating experience.
My husband went here this morning at 5:58. He parks in pro parking. The big garage door was opened so he figured they were open. Walked by 2 employees who did not tell him they were not open yet. He went to check out at 6:05 at the pro desk, and was yelled at by some man in a sweater holding a coffee cup. He did not have a name badge on so he did not get his name. The guy yelled at my husband like he was a child, and said you snuck in early didn't you. It was 558 they open at 6 and the big garage door was wide open. Sweater coffee cup guy then says We have to do our saftey stuff before you can come in here. Then said well have a nice day I guess. Super rude to him. If they were closed the 2 employees he walked by should have said sir we don't open till 6. He would have waited. We used to spend a lot of money there but after this morning I don't see us going back. Management does not know how to treat customers. He should be mad at the 2 employees that let him in. Or keep the doors locked until they are open. It is never ok to yell at a paying customer. If he didn't have to have these supplies for work, he would have just walked out. In today's world there is no reason to be rude to someone who is willing spending money in your establishment. Very disappointed. Do better Lowes.
Lowe's has always been great for us. Especially ''Vicky''! Twice she s gone above and beyond 1st was with my Honda mower purchase and 2nd was with microwave. I got there 15 min before closing on Christmas Eve, truck broke down, and she made it possible for me to buy-load-go and save another trip. Thank you again Vicky and Lowe's.
I should've read the reviews before making the mistake of purchasing my appliances here. I spent over 4k to deal with issues since day one. First day I was there purchasing my appliances Andy the "appliance manager " helped us and said my items would be delivered on time and that everything I purchased was supposedly in stock.. a day before my delivery date I received a call stating my gas range was not available and that I had to wait weeks to receive it. There was no date given either. I was moving from an apartment to a house with zero appliances. So Andy wanted me to wait for the stove when I have a family to feed. So I had to go through the mess of canceling the item through the warranty. which by the way the warranty people are some third party company who have reps that don't speak inglish so it's hard to understand them. To this day my stove has not been canceled, I now have a new issue with my fridge not being covered although I paid for the warranty and many calls later I'm being told my fridge is not covered under the warranty. Andy had me return the old warranty since it was not a 3 peice anymore because I was no longer purchasing a stove from them so I had to repurchase a 2 peice that would supposly cover my dishwasher and fridge and I've been told 3 times from 3 different reps that the new warranty is no where to be found so basically I lost 163.94. This is the last time I'm spending money at this store. I had to talk to the store manager which did compensate me for the inconveniences but now I'm stuck dealing with this warranty issue. I would give this zero stars if I could!!!
Here on a Sunday about noon, employees standing around talking to each other. I find what a little of what I want, want to pay, only self checkout open, and one person helping people. I abandoned my cart and left because there was 2 self checkouts open, and no normal registers. Lightbulb selection seems large until you need a specific type.
I Ordered Trim at the store and they told me they would call me within the day to let me know when my order would arrive. 2 days past and called them and they have nothing that this order has been made or attempted. They put me on hold 5 different times with the last one hanging up. I tried to re-call them several times and they kept picking up and hanging up!!!!!!!
