Good place if you need any appliances from home to garden etc, good workers has helped me.
I shop in ace hardware for certain things. Their prices are higher than, let's say, in Menards but they tend to have really good sales and discounts on stuff. For example I bought Dewalt battery and charger and got small Dewalt circular saw for free.
It's a lovely ace, great customer service always.
Wow, $200 more for the same Ego brand two stage snow blower. Nothing like price gouging when your store has the only ones available in the area. Online at other Ace stores for 1299, but it's 1499 here. Not a good first impression considering I would have driven an hour+ to get one. Edit. They had the one I wanted, so I bought it online for the "sale" price. Took two guys to load the box on my minivan, totally professional the whole time. Will still stick to my local Ace for most stuff but had to upgrade this review.
Great little hardware store, dog friendly. My dog and I both enjoy the free popcorn with purchase.
Tons of toys, if you like tools. If you dont it'll look like your going to be doing some work later. Staff is knowledgeable and prices aren't the highest in town.
They generally have what I need. I was asked 3 times while I was in the store if I needed any help. Great service and selection. Free popcorn.
Service was awful. 1/2 hour before closing and staff is standing at the end of an aisle waiting to get off work when I'm clearly looking for something. Asked where the nails were and got sent 2 different ways then asked the guy at checkout who was busy on his cell phone and he just pointed and said "over there"? Like the store buti not mpressed by the staff on 2/27/21.
Nice store, friendly staff. Much better service than the big home improvement chain stores. I go here for propane tank fills. They don't charge for an exchange, rather for the amount they put in your tank by weight. What a novel idea. There are several locations in town and I suspect they all have a good level of service.
