The most appropriate word to describe our experience with Lower Cape Fear Hospice is EXCELLENCE. The professionalism and genuinely kind service we received was one of the kind. My father received both the home care service and in-center service, ALL the nurses were caring, attentive, efficient, resourceful, helpful, knowledgeable and truly concerned for his comfort until the very last minute of his life. The assigned nurse, named Tracy, was the sweetest nurse I have ever met! She was there for every single need, so understanding and so professional. She even called us a few days after my dad's passing to check on us! We are all very pleased and thankful my father last month of life was in the caring hands of this hospice. The order and delivery of medicines and equipment was fast. The service line also fast. The service at the center was outstanding. The site is spotless, peaceful and comforting; we could not ask for a better center. From the staff to the volunteers, they truly made my dad's passing less painful. The nurse Claudia at the center along with her team member Monique were on top of every need and very caring. The entire team at this hospice is so well trained and so well prepared. This is a long review but well deserved by this organization. Thank you Lower Cape Fear Hospice!

Teresa was blessed to spend her last week with the kind and humble folk of LCFH. Angels... and grace...
and compassion... and genuine humility abound in this place. I cannot thank you all enough for the respect with which Teresa was treated. Endless thanks and boundless respect to the staff in its entirety!

My late husband was a patient at Hospice. They did home visits for a couple of months before he was admitted to the facility. Everyone we dealt with was top notch and so very caring. The facility on Physicians Drive is lovely, and they take great care of the patients as well as the family.

My fiancé suddenly became very ill. He had end-stage liver failure and went into hospital for a Paracentsis and went into renal failure. He was here til he passed (4 days). The nurses are outstanding, very kind, and very professional. The facility was very clean and volunteers brought in food daily for patients family. If you are ever faced with this difficult decision, I would not hesitate, I would immediately bring my love one to be cared by these amazing people. They are guardian angels for our loved ones.
