Taylor gave me the most beautiful haircut and she so nice about listening to me explain what I wanted. I have been to three different stylists trying to get the haircut I got regularly about a decade ago from someone who doesn't live in Portland anymore and no one pulled it off. I especially appreciated that Taylor didn't get weird when I used stylist lingo to describe the cut I wanted, she talked to me about the information I was giving her and added improvements, and then GASP gave me the exact cut I wanted. I feel so beautiful!
Amber is amazing! I love the open feel and relaxed sophistication of the whole salon, but if you have the chance to get Amber as your stylist, take it! She works pure magic!
I go to Lily at Lucas and I love her. She is the kind of stylist you come to depend on that makes you panic at the thought of them ever moving away or deciding to do something else for a living. She also cuts my husband's hair and my 14-year-old daughter. She is excellent at both styling and color. As far as the salon goes, I love it. It's beautiful, open and comfortable. They offer you you tea, coffee, water, soft drinks, wine or beer while you wait. They also sell all the best, high-end hair products for purchase.
I've been going to Shiloh for about a year now. She's absolutely great. Easy to talk to and extremely adept at a quick assessment of what will and absolutely will not work with your hair, face shape and lifestyle. Exactly what you want in a stylist! She's worked in top salons in all the "big cities" we're really lucky to have her here.
