This woman SCREAMED AT ME! I tried to go to Lucky Brand to return a pair of jeans. I had the receipt. The woman initially said I would have to call customer service in order to do a return. I called customer service, and they said that I should have been able to do the return in store and said to please hold while they called the Atlanta store. A few minutes later, an automated voice came on the line and said "Goodbye" and hung up. I called the customer service line back, and it said that no representatives were able to assist. Then I called once again, and a new representative said that for phone calls they only handle online orders and that I'd have to go to the store. I went to the store and immediately, without opening my mouth, she treated me with disrespect and dismissal. No acknowledgement that I was standing at the counter in front of her. I asked nicely to return the jeans and presented my receipt. She refused to return them bc they looked "dirty." These jeans had never been worn before and were even in the original fold, right up to the crease. She then said she'd have to call her manager. She did so, and then refused the return. I asked why, and she said that she wanted to throw the jeans in the trash. I asked if I could exchange the jeans instead, or receive store credit. She said "Absolutely not. That's a hard no." I asked again and she said "Are you kidding me? This is why the company is losing so much money, because of people 'like you'." I then told her that I really needed to return my husband's jeans and asked if there was anything she could do to make this work. She said "This is now a YOU problem. Not my problem anymore" and pointed at the door for me to leave. I stood there in disbelief and shock. She then responded "Is your husband having money problems or something?" The combination of the initial disrespect on appearance alone, along with the "people like you" comment, and the comment about not having enough money, made me suspect that this could be a racist attack. If this woman is so interested in the company making money, I'm sure they could benefit from having one less name on the payroll. I planned on calling customer service again to complain about how I was mistreated, so I needed to call the store and get this woman's name. She refused to give it to me. When I told her I would simply return to the store to get her name, she still refused. I told her I could then just call Lucky Brand and they could look up who was working the store that day. She then gave me her name "Sharmaine Merrywhether". I asked her how to spell that, and she told me to "Google how to spell Sharmaine and figure it out." I asked again and she refused. When I asked for her manager's name, she said it was "Mickey". When I asked for his last name, she said she didn't know her boss' last name. I then asked her to spell "Mickey" for me. She then confessed his name was actually "Michael", but insisted she didn't know her boss' last name. I then told her I just need names so that I can let corporate know of this issue, and she said "Is corporate on the phone right now? Hellooo?? Helloo?? Corporate?? Are you on the phone right now??." She then hung up on me. When I called back, she said she wasn't willing to spell her name for me, and that "this conation is over." I called back one last time, and she picked up the phone and immediately slammed it shut. Honestly I'm in shock at this unbelievable treatment.
This review is actually for the mall of GA location, but they don't seem to have a google listing yet. Would give 0 stars if I could. My wife and I went in to shop. Found a couple of shirts and went to check out. When we did, the cashier blatantly misgendered my wife. My wife is trans and is clearly feminine. The kid checking us out decided to refer to her as "sir". Not sure why. The entire transaction could have been conducted without the use of any pronouns. This store really needs to teach its employees about how to address people in the LGBTQ+ community. Or just people in general. This interaction has caused my wife much distress. I shudder to think of how this thoughtless action would have affected a trans teen with low self esteem and dysphoria. Shameful.
Excellent store with stylish high quality clothing. Good value. Friendly helpful staff that was above and beyond. Great selection. Highly recommended.
Loyda makes te difference. We walked in 15 minutes to close and did not realise that. She was all smile, fun and extremely knowledgeable. From one look, she could tell the Jean number, shape l, size, color. She gave us a good new suggestion and we left we 2 set of jeans. She was by herself, dealing with 3 couples, all smile, a little ice breaker for everyone and genuinely cared !!! She has the special touch of retail. Thank you
Horrible customer service. I bought a pair of jean shorts and took the tags off that day when I tried them on at home because they scratched too much. I realized very quickly about an hour later that they were a bad short because they rode up and were too high in the waist. I brought them back with tags less than 24 hours later just to exchange for a different pair, not even money back! The woman refused to exchange them because she said they were worn and dirty. Completely impossible that I could have gotten them dirty in one hour just in my house. Then she pretty much said I was lying because they wouldn’t sell them to me dirty and she was confident they weren’t dirty yesterday when she wasn’t even there! And I'm Confident they were sold to me that way. Isn’t the customer always right? I’m not trying to take them for anything as I was hoping to do an even exchange with another pair! Unbelievable that they couldn’t accommodate this request and additionally try to humiliate me and call me a liar. It’s a pair of shorts at a billion dollar company and she couldn’t do an exchange less than 24 hours later? Smug, impolite to customers and unwilling to accommodate reps will not get you sales. I’ve never had this experience at any other store. I won’t shop here again.
This was by far the worst experience in a Lucky store I've ever had. The woman working there treated me as if I offended her by walking in the door. It was only 8:00, and she told me they close earlier than they actually do. Nevermind that I was spending a substantial amount of money there... she was rude and wanted me out of her way an hour before closing. My money will go elsewhere next time.
Kinda cool clothes, but way....way... WAY too expensive... I would happily buy loads more there but I just cant reconcile spending huge sums on jeans.. Get your prices in line and you'd have more business all around...
Been here many times but as of recently it's next to impossible to find the price without asking. Which is a no-go so I left. As a side note the staff was very helpful and willing to help me, I was just in one of those moods, & I didn't want to talk with the sales associate whether they were good or not
Went yesterday afternoon and lights off, no one answering phone. Same thing again today. Is the store closed for good?
Staff has always been friendly and helpful over the years. Selling a quality product.
