This was the first salon that I went to when I first moved to DC. For some time, I usually got haircuts and they came out very nice. However, I decided to dye my hair again for the first time in years. I first went for blonde highlights, which I was somewhat satisfied with however overtime they looked streaky when not styled. I went again to dye my hair red and it was an absolute disaster. Not only did they treat me with disrespect, but they decided not to consult with me that they were going to apply PERMANENT red dye on my hair. The red undertone is still stuck in my hair even 8 months later, and this is after I went to another salon to cover it up. They completely disregarded consulting me about anything before they applied the dye. Additionally, they were over booked and treated me as if I was a nuisance. It was like they just wanted my appointment over with and have me out the door asap. This may seem like a harsh review, but this experience ended up really damaging my hair. Stylist: Luna

I got a wonderful undercut from Silvia today, I was super nervous going in but she was really nice and did a great job. Heavily recommend!

Horrible. Do NOT go. TLDR: rushed, smelly, entirely overpriced!!! 90 dollars for the cheapest cut of my life. Took too long to be serviced Wash was three minutes with cold water and shampoo only Cut itself was a 15 min trim of dead ends Blow dry/straightening was 20 minutes Cost: ninety dollars.!! When asked why bc the service is listed as 60 dollars was told it is bc my hair is long. My hair is around 20 inches. I was not told it would be an additional 30 dollars!??! I honestly feed robbed. I've been going to Luna for years now and continued to book appointments with her even when we moved to Florida. I'd schedule my business trips so I could get a hair cut with Luna while in DC, she's that good. Her cuts are extremely reasonably priced and she does an excellent job. A friend recommended her to me years ago after I had complained about my negative experiences with the expensive and trendy salons in town. I've been going to her ever since and highly recommend her.

I called an hour before they close and was able to get an haircut right away. Silvia did a fantastic job with my super straight hair, which most hairdressers find challenging. I will be back!

I have gone here probably about ten times for a classic haircut/blowout. Each time they are friendly, prompt, and fantastic. I've always left loving my hair and they always do it so quickly! Highly recommend.Service: Haircut
