It was a pleasure to work with MacDonald hardwoods. Scott in sales spent a considerable amount time in helping us understand the species of wood, colors, and grades. We could not be happier with our choice. Scott offered suggestion when he came to our house to make sure our floors would look stunning. Scott arranged that the floor would be installed by Ben, who has years of experience and owned his own company. Ben worked to make sure he laid out the pattern of the wood for the best presentation. Both Scot and Ben are excellent to work with as was the backroom staff at MacDonald Hardwoods. I did receive other quotes from other hardwood stores and although MacDonald was in the middle of the group, I really saw the added value of working with them. Please take the time to visit MacDonald hardwoods.
We love our new hardwood floors! They were relatively easy to install and the quality is much better than what you’d get in a big box store. Because the wood is pre-finished, we had very little construction dust and mess. We’re incredibly happy with our decision to go with MacDonald Hardwoods!
We are OBSESSED with our new hardwoods from MacDonald Hardwoods! Not only is the product EXACTLY what we envisioned, but the service from start to finish was stellar. Working and scheduling with contractors can be tricky and frustrating, but Tom was communicative, flexible, and extremely helpful. Our installer, Ben, was also incredible. He was prompt, kind, and his work was flawless. He even worked around the drywall installers who were there on the same days as us, and gave excellent advice on how to protect our new floors while other work was happening. We will never go anywhere else for hardwoods -- MacDonald Hardwoods is the gold standard!
MacDonald Hardwoods did a fantastic job on my new floors in an old cabin. It was a challenging job since the floor wasn't level and there are log walls and log stairs to negotiate; however, the installer did a beautiful job installing around these areas. They came to do the work when they said they were and got it done within the time period they estimated. I will be using them again in the near future for sure and I highly recommend them! Update: MacDonald Hardwoods came back out to install new wood floors in a different part of my cabin and just as before, they did a great job. I loved working with Tom in the office, and Anastacio does beautiful installation work! I'm very satisfied with the entire process with them. I would highly recommend them!
Steve at MacDonald Hardwoods was helpful with our flooring project. He was thorough and offered lots of suggestions about things we did not consider. Bud and Cody, our installers were great. I would highly recommend them.
Purchased flooring for DIY project, help me as a beginner get started, has tools available to get it done and provides advice for doing it right. Products are beautifully manufactured, high quality and priced well for the quality. Very happy with all my interactions with the folks at the store.
Sales staff was on point with helping with wood selection. Installer was on time and professional and did an outstanding job on the stair's hardwood installation and the two rooms. Planning to do the next phase of project with MacDonald shortly.
We came to MacDonald after having a bad experience elsewhere and couldn't be more pleased with their wonderful service! Tom helped us pick out Superior Red Oak flooring for our home and was so knowledgeable on the product. We were concerned about the chemicals used in flooring and Tom was able to answer all of our questions. Troy installed our floors for us and was so attentive to detail, even asking if he was keeping things clean enough our daughter has asthma. We cannot thank MacDonald enough for making this flooring update a wonderful experience! We look forward to purchasing more products and working with Troy and Tom in the future!
We had already picked hardwood from another retail exchange, but became concerned they would be unable to timely deliver. So we went to MacDonald Hardwood and could not be more satisfied. They were much more knowledgeable about our needs and options. We selected a hardwood floor more beautiful, better quality, less costly than we had previously picked. The flooring was delivered precisely when scheduled. And the customer service was above our expectations!! MacDonald Hardwood is the only place we would recommend whatever kind and quantity hardwood flooring you want.
Everything about my experience at McDonald Hardwoods was great. There was no pressure in the showroom and Jeff took considerable time to explain all of my options and give me a couple of quotes the same day. It took a couple of months to get on the install schedule, but once I moved past that disappointment :-, everything went like clockwork. Jeff came out to do the final measure and install estimate, and it came out slightly below the initial estimate, which was very refreshing. The wood was delivered on time and the final installation was perfect. Josh did an amazing job with the prep, install, and trim finishing. The transitions between the wood and tile/carpeted areas were perfect. He was done in about 3-1/2 days. They are not the cheapest game in town, but you won't be disappointed with the quality. Thanks much for the beautiful new floor!!
