Thank you Brett Martin for your professionalism in taking care of Mike and Tracy! They got a great deal on their laminate, and the installation went smoothly! I will recommend your store for future jobs in the Denver area!
I had the same horrible experience as other reviews mentioned. I wish I would have read these before working with Prosource and gone literally anywhere else! Please listen to these reviews and stay far far away. We ordered Kraus hardwood flooring, through Chris Holder. He was responsive in the beginning at least. We ordered the flooring which actually came in on time, although I am sure we overpaid, and they don't ship to your site so had to rent a truck to pick up. Basically paying twice for transport, once to ship to them to prosource, and again to ship to job site. But, up until this point, its all acceptable business practices. Where the real serious issues came about was regarding our stair nosings. Chris Holder told us to wait since they stock them and ship in 1 week. Still we ordered them in about a month in advance of needing them. When we ordered them, we were shocked at the price. $1,200 for stair nosings for just one stair. We think that part of the reason Chris told us to wait to order these is if we knew the nosings price up front, we probably would have not ordered these floors through them. But, since we already bought the flooring, we had to buy the matching nosings. Two weeks go by after ordering the nosings and I check on the status of the nosing delivery. They said they will check into it. they never do. Then, they start ignoring my calls. I speak with Lynnie at the front desk who says she'll look into it, but never does. Another week goes by, same answer, they never look into it. I go in to talk to someone, I speak with Jeff Hewit, who is actually their finance guy and doesnt normally do this, but nobody else will help me. I demand that he calls Kraus flooring while I wait and he does, and we order 2 day shipping. He gives some excuse about them switching over systems and our order got lost. A few days go by, I always have to go into the store to check in since nobody answers or returns my calls. Now its today... I am in Jeff's office, I ask him to give me their account number so I can call Kraus directly. I call Kraus, and immediately find out that our order is being held because of finanical issues, AKA pro source isnt paying kraus. I tried to refund our payment with prosource and just use my credit card to buy i demand a full refund for all the nosings and decide to go elsewhere. At this point, my nosings are over a month late and delaying my project and costing me money. I immediately went down the street to Total Floors, tell them my story and they help me immediately. They are wonderful and helpful so far! They call Kraus and get info needed and place my order within the hour. Getting 2 day shipping and all my nosings for about $400 cheaper than prosource charged me. I have heard that prosource has been better in the past but not anymore. The level of incompetency and dishonesty is mind blowing. They maybe aren't actually breaking any laws, but it sure as hell feels like they are. Stay far, far away.
Arlene, my sale's rep, and Chuck, my cabinet designer were, simply put, awesome. I just ordered my cabinets today. Those two have been past patient with me. Purchasing a kitchen, as a kitchen designer myself, can be frustrating for another designer to say the least. Chuck was extremely patient, willing to make changes so that I could get the kitchen I wanted. Arlene went to bat for me and got me a great price. I've shopped for over a year and found the J&K Cabinets to be the most affordable for a full plywood box cabinet with soft close, full extension all wood, dovetail drawers and overlay door style. Plus, the price ProSource charged me to have them assembled was more than fair. At this point I'd recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen or bath. I'll follow up with another review after we get the cabinets installed. This is my follow up. After ordering the cabinets I found I had to pick them up from the J&K Warehouse. I was told they had to be picked up, but they failed to tell me that I couldn't pick them up at ProSource. I had arranged for movers to pick them up there. Since the cost was going to be twice as much as I had planned, I asked the ProSource manager if he would find out if J&K Cabinetry delivered. He called me back the next day and said he had tried his hardest to have them delivered but J&K didn't deliver. This just didn't sound right to me so I called J&K Cabinetry to find out for myself. They said of course they delivered to Denver county and we arranged to have them delivered to me. Yes, I did pay for the delivery as I had planned. I called Arlene, my salesperson at ProSource, told her I had been lied to by her manager and that he obviously had never called them. She apologized profusely and told me this was a brand new manager. So, with this all said, I must now change my review to a one star, with this type of management I would recommend no one buy from them.
I am writing this review after ProSource Denver took our money, never delivered our product, and closed it's doors. It is true what all the bad reviews are saying about ProSource Denver! I understand that the same thing recently happened to a lot of ProSource Denver customers. It wouldn't even matter if I could give ZERO stars to ProSource Denver since they have already closed their doors. It's important to know that ProSource Wholesale is a franchise and therefore, each location is independently owned and operated! That being said, I am giving a 5-star rating to ProSource of Northern Colorado. * * * * * This part of my review is for ProSource of Northern Colorado. After the nightmare with ProSource Denver, I decided to call ProSource of Northern CO to see if they knew what was going on in Denver. We were advised to dispute the charges to our credit card and cancel the card, which we did. After speaking with Kerri Fernandez at ProSource Northern CO and speaking with Chris Pace, the Field Business Consultant for ProSource Wholesale, they made sure our order was fulfilled and is at this very moment being picked up by our Contractors. Our order was sitting in a warehouse, unpaid for by the ProSource Denver location. ProSource Northern CO is new to the area, but they jumped through hoops to get an account set-up with the maker of the product and get our original order delivered. I understand how incredibly disturbing and maddening this whole event has been for everyone who got scammed by ProSource Denver, but I seriously encourage you to contact Kerri Fernandez at ProSource Northern CO to see if they can help you get your product or a refund! Thankfully, what happened at the Denver location is not a reflection of all ProSource franchises. This division really stepped up and made things right for us. We are very grateful to everyone who got involved and got the ball rolling. Thank you!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Our contractor referred ProSource for our flooring and cabinets; we had issues from day one. When sending our measurements and revisions, the design team did not pay attention to any of the modifications we made or minor details that needed to be updated to the design. It took over seven revisions to get the measurements to what we needed. Thereafter communication, responsiveness and customer service went out the door, and they stopped returning calls and emails. Even one of their employees told us that the company had horrible customer service. Due to their poor designing and ordering a cabinet that won't fit our double over after we sent dimensions and specs we are stuck with a cabinet that we will not be able to use. DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT!! It puts all responsibility on the buyer even if ProSource messes up the measurements and purchasing. We also reached out to the owner,f Brett multiple times and have yet year hear from him. FINAL THOUGHT, RUN, AND DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
DO NOT SHOP HERE !! I purchased flooring from the owner, Brett Martin, for $11,000+ in January. I've NEVER recieved it. I've called, text the CEO & CFO and went into ProSource several times to figure out what was going on. I was not given any answers. Everyone who I've spoken to there, can't give me answers or refund my money. Can you believe they won't refund me?? My remodel has now become my worst nightmare, thanks to them. Do your research. This is happening to many of their customers. Read the reviews, not just on Google, wherever you can.
My husband and I bought a fixer upper and needed the works flooring, cabinets, bath stuff, etc. We decided to go through ProSource. HUGE mistake. We placed all our orders in October...it is now mid December and we still do not have all our items. We were told they would take 7 days to arrive! Well, obviously we had to buy other stuff so that we could get the house done cant exactly live without a bathroom for 2 months, and now we are being told that they will not accept returns on the ones that still have not even arrived. Over 50% of the items that have arrived are not correct. Renovating a home is stressful enough without adding the headache of ProSource. Also, most of the appointments that I had with a particular sales person he did not show up to. However, if you need cabinets they are good mostly due to Sandi who was awesome. But everything else is a headache. Save your self the trouble and go to Floor and Decor and Rampart Pluming - I wished I had!
We recently purchased higher end Kane carpet from Prosource of Denver for a somewhat complicated order. We received excellent service from everyone we worked with; from the Reception Staff, Salesperson all the way up to Management. We are very pleased with everyone and the support they provided in meeting the needs of our project. We appreciate and can rely on the experts at ProSource of Denver to get the job done.
I have been working with ProSource for many years. Chris is my sales rep and is excellent at helping guide my clients through the selection process so that they can be assured their selections work well together and are in budget. He is an invaluable asset in helping to make sure materials are ready when the project demands them. Rosie has designed several of our kitchen and wet bars and has been a pleasure to deal with, as she is very detail oriented in designing a cabinet layout that will meet the desires of my clients. All in all my experiences with ProSource have been great. It is very refreshing to have a team on your side that will help make the finish material selection a painless one for clients.
Don't trust them. I ordered ~$1100 worth of tile and everything was fine. Then I needed a few more pieces ~$45 worth. They ordered it but ordered the wrong stuff, so I returned it. When I returned the tile they said they couldn't process the credit right away because it needed the boss's approval and he wasn't available. I've spoken with my sales rep Arlene several times and all she says is "its on the boss's desk." That was almost two months ago. I filed a dispute with the credit card company so it will eventually get sorted out, but its been a huge hassle and has guaranteed that I won't shop there again... and all over a $45 credit that they agree they owe me anyhow.
