Madame Isabelle's family moved to New Orleans in early 1900 before she moved out of the city around 2002. The house was originally built in 1831. Her family had expanded and decorated the house before her father endowed to her. She and her husband continued to develop the house for their lifetime.
The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, describing the architectural characteristics of the old New Orleans' houses. As we are proud of the details of the house, we would like you to enjoy every part of the house.
Located in only one block away from French Quarter, the location of the house is just superb. The house is surrounded by tons of famous local restaurants nearby French Quarter, and also 10 minutes walks to the Bourbon street, 5 minutes to the Frenchmen street, 10 minutes to Louis Armstrong Park and 15 minutes to the downtown. At the corner of its street, there are bus stops with five routes to the city's renowned tourists destinations.
Private rooms as well as dormitory type of rooms are available to use. There are two, three and four-person private rooms in the house. Most of our private rooms are equipped with a cable TV, a refrigerator and a private bathroom. All beds are equipped with new 8-inch mattress and brand-new liens. However, you may not want to stay in the room because the hidden backyard, decks and Jacuzzi are all waiting for you.
