Outstanding crepes! The owner is the chef and cooks some of the best crepes from authentic french cooking that you will ever taste. Ambience is good. The sitting capacity is small and wait time is usually longer. But the tasty food is worth multiple visits to this place.

Best crepes I’ve had. No argument. The thin yet flavorful crepe melts in the mouth. You can’t go wrong with any sweet or savory options. And the chef and service were so nice! Coming back as soon as I can.

Literally the best crepes I’ve had in NYC! We had the ham complete, the blueberry sweet crepe and the owner brought out some simple butter & honey samples to finish. All were delicious and the owner was so nice! Definitely come thru!

Madame Poupon is a really legit French Crepes Place that you cannot find in NYC. You will find all classics from French Crêperies name of Crepes Place in France. Hakim the server is very friendly and Chris the owner and cook coming from Brest in Brittany which means that he knows what he's doing with The Real Recipes from France. Prices are really affordable and crepes are big. I highly recommend it if you want to taste a piece of French Culture and Gastronomy here in NYC!

Was recommended this place by a friend from France. Jean Christophe, who was the only chef in the kitchen when we visited, offered us crepe samples and whipped up some amazing savory crepes for us. He was very hospitable and generous. If you want to experience authentic French crepes, this is the place to go.

Amazing experience! Everything we tried was delicious, and Jean made sure each dish was perfect. The codfish crepe special was unbelievably good. Can’t wait to come back to try all the rest - thanks all!

How have I missed this place?!? I make trips to Paris and the first thing I eat is a good crepe…. Well I don’t need to anymore because I can now just go to Brooklyn, they are wayyy better at Madame Poupon! He deserves all his 5 stars! One of the coziest spots to have a meal in NYC Warm interior, super filling crepes, and friendly hospitality. Lots of french-speakers in the house during sunday brunch so you know it’s legit :

Visited here due to recommendation and soo very glad that we did. Hidden gem in the middle of Brooklyn with back garden, shaded seating and the best French style crepes in NYC. Owner/cook JC knows his stuff. His savory crepes and dessert crepes have different batters, in true Brittany style. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients and everything homemade. Totally recommend this place for a low key brunch/lunch/dinner destination with great food. Best to reserve for large parties.
