I LOVE this museum. Its small but packed with awesome information and amazing historic trains. I didn't get to ride on the train but will definitely go back for that another day. The tracks run alongside the walking trail and have excellent views! The only recommendation I will make is handicap access is difficult to the museum. We had come off the East End Trail and to navigate across the tracks and across the parking lot was hard. When we got to the museum staff was helpful.

Went on the Polar Express. Was a great time for the kids. They read from the book, sing, serve cookies and hit chocolate as you ride to the North Pole where Santa himself boards the train and greets all of the passengers. They also get to keep the hot cocoa mug and a stamped ticket from the conductor.

Small museum with historical trains. A definite go to place if you are in Maine. I would have liked to spend more time there. 10 bucks ticket price not a bad deal. Train ride was definitely worth it.

Amazed to see see and step inside classic train cars from over a century ago (and very well preserved!) My toddler and his grandparents all loved the feel of traveling back in time, as well as the ride of the moving locomotive on track outside!!

This is a smaller museum but my kids absolutely loved it. If you are a fan of trains and memorabilia, or your kids are this is a wonderful place to visit. This is a place to make a memory that will last a lifetime for that train enthusiast in your life. Absolutely wonderful.
