Story

A MakerSpace is a location where people with common interests can meet, socialise and/or collaborate. MakerSpaces can be viewed as open community labs incorporating elements of machine shops, workshops and/or studios where makers can come together to share resources and knowledge to build and make things. Our long term goal includes a location close to downtown Wichita that would include elements of a wood shop, machine shop, electronics lab, science lab, and art studio.

The purpose of this page is to find individuals interested in a MakerSpace in Wichita, Kansas. Please share this page with individuals who would like a place to think, create, and socialize in a unique community shop environment. If you would like to be involved in the startup of this organization by donating time, money, or equipment, please send us a message.
