I’m LIVID at how terrible my experience was. I ordered a falafel platter, “Greek salad”, and side of hummus. With at least 2 pitas on the side. And to preface, I’m Middle Eastern and have eaten falafel and hummus and Mediterranean food as well ALL MY LIFE. So I know what to expect. 1 the platter was COLD. As if the falafel had been refrigerated all day and just placed in the container. As was the rice. For context, I ordered food online but it arrived very quickly so food should have not had a chance to get so cold. It was accompanied by some sort of watery white substance that was supposed to be hummus. IT WAS NOT. As well as what was supposed to be tahini on the side, but it was more of like a mayo textured watery white sauce. 2 The “Greek salad” was NOT a Greek salad. It was advertised as such with the expectation of the ingredients of feta, tomato, onion, and olives. No olives were present. Instead just more pickles and lettuce in the “Greek salad”. PICKLES DON’T GO IN GREEK SALAD. And yet, it was the only bearable part of my meal. Also the dressing tasted like it was made with vegetable or canola oil and not olive oil. 3 my side of hummus was just as disappointing. Some oil filled to the top that did not at all taste like olive oil. Since I was VERY HUNGRY I decided to heat up my food. However I couldn’t come close to finishing it, and now I am feeling VERY nauseous. Here is to hoping I don’t get food poisoning. This place is GROSS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU ORDER HERE!
This is my first time visiting this store by accident and I LOVE IT!!!! I just can’t forget the taste of the meal so I come back to leave my comments, literally the best food I’ve eaten in America so far in this year. Their lamb is so soft and juicy, the veggies is so tasty… I can’t believe they make my hated veggies become too good to forget. I’ll definitely come back for some dessert next time and bring all of my friends here!!! Also, their staffs are all friendly and helpful, they are so pleasant! I can tell they treat customers so well that I feel they are friends with those customers hahaha.

-Variety of this market is really good esp fresh and halal meat with reasonable price is available here. -There is a parking lot beside the store, which is great. -The aisles are tight and not very easy to navigate though.
I have been going to Makkah Market since I was 6 and I love everything about this Market. Feels like home, I purchase groceries, books, hot meals, send money back home, abayas & hijabs. The kindest souls works here! The halal meat sold here smells so fresh to me. You can tell the animals are healthy and well taken care for before being slaughtered and packaged up to sell.
I’ve been coming to Makkah Market for the past 7 years and their quality of service is amazing. Friendly customer service, neatly organized products, and delicious halal food. It’s the perfect place for grocery shopping and dining. Plus, they have a bookstore that sells a wide variety of Qurans, books, house decorations, accessories, hijabs, etc…
The place is Very dirty. Anyone with eyes can see it is rarely ever cleaned. I got food here and immediately got food poisoning and am still sick. The food just sits there COLD all day until you chose it and they will reheat it in a microwave for you. Its disturbing in so many ways. Please be safe and only buy their packaged items and dont get anything from their very dirty deli
It's 345AM. I placed a GrubHub order at 3:08AM and then pressed Help to cancel, at 3:08AM. Since that time I've been begging three different agents on GrubHub to cancel the order. The first two bounced me off chat. I've been awake for 40 minutes in the middle of the night because there's no cancel button. This is a halal cart. The driver hasn't been assigned yet. This amounts to a 2-hour nightmare in the middle of the night.
Good Hallal good. No beef mret here when I was there. I have been here 3 to 4 times already. It's a Middle Eastern type of food and it is 24/7 open. Only lamb, chicken, fish and Vegi. I loved the lamb more than anything. Also there are a grocery store and a gift shop. Third floor has a dining as well second floor but it is small.
Wanted to try this place for a little so I stopped by this morning. The amount of food I received wasn't really a problem. The food just didn't taste or smell good when I opened it at home. I'm not sure if I received old food because it's a 24hr spot.. but I'm definitely disappointed. I threw the whole platter away. I might try again one day during the lunch hours to see if I just got bad food this time.
