Went for lunch. The chips and Salsa where good, not just stand out. Not a big cheese dip fan, but tasted just fine. The tortillas tasted home made. Very good. I am sorry do not know what the name of my dish is. It was a Smokey chicken, red onion, quarter sliced tomatoes dish. With a small amount of broth. Had some white steamed rice on the side. I mixed it all. The taste was good. Had a strong Smokey taste, which I think was a little overpowering. My side was some friespossibly frozen with a nice spice on top. It was all good but would like to go back and try something different. The place was clean the bathroom was also clean. My waitress was nice and took care of me. Will go back and try something different.
Food was pretty good. They were way less busy than they should be. They had a huge menu and the tortillas tasted homemade. The salsa was a little watery for me but it wasn't bad. The cheese had it's own distinct flavor and was very thick. The drink menu was huge! I want to try everything on there!
The Peruvian Items here are the best I've had in the United States. Dont delay-- eat here soon. The fish and oriental veggies over jasmine rice was excellent as was the noodle dish. Seriously well prepared and flavored. Have your next meal here. And a mark of a good restaurant is using real butter and having it on the table instead of cancer causing margarine. The salsa was good too. I stopped going to Jimmies Egg when they years ago abandoned butter. Lack of use of butter tells you the management skimps with shortcuts and there is no telling what's actually going into the food.
The salsa that comes with the chips is good. The homemade flour tortillas are so delicious! I ordered the pollo saltado.. it was more red onion than chicken..but it was still good. We ordered the papas which were good as well. I do recommend the chicha morada for a drink!
The service is amazing! They have a lunch menu that has Mexican, Peruvian, or a combination of both. This is a perfect fusion of both cuisines. The tortillas are home made, the salsa and queso is just right, and If you are looking for good sweet tea as well this place has it.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and visit. The dining area was very clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. My Peruvian style dish was excellent with a distinctive flavor. My wife had a Mexican dish that was also delicious. This was our first visit but there will many more in the future. Nice job!
The Peruvian menu does not disappoint for a good meal and fun experience. My family loves coming here together for family dinners when we are all in town. The service is very friendly and they bring plenty of chips AND homemade tasting tortillas for your salsa and quest enjoyment. Very accomodating and I always have a hard time deciding what to eat because it all tastes so authentic and there is a very wide variety of items on the menu. There is also a fun llama textured mural on the wall that we love seeing when we enter. Plus, the margarita options are on point!
The staff here is super nice! The foods also really good. I love the chicken quesadilla it had a ton of really well seasoned chicken in it. I can't wait to come back and try some of the Peruvian options in the menu. It all looks really good. Glad to see something new go here.
Best of Both Worlds. If you like Mexican you can get Mexican if you like Peruvian you get Peruvian so my opinion one of the best mixed culture restaurants in the north west side of Oklahoma City. If you're feeling something new I suggest looking at their Peruvian menu. Chips and salsa are wonderful, always fresh, and with a added bonus they serve homemade tortillas. Oh and BTW our drinks will never empty. I went there with a group of about 7 people and had a wonderful time.
The tortillas were fresh, the queso and salsa tasty. I'm not adventurous when it comes to trying the Peruvian dishes, which looked good, but my Pollo Al Carbon was wonderful! Great flavors, a very pleasant surprise in a convenient location. Highly recommend.
