Amazing school! Our son had some trouble with transitions and socialization and we were nervous about sending him to Kindergarten. The school we were zoned to wasn't great so we looked at a few private schools before deciding to go with MCS. The school and campus is beautiful and his teacher was amazing! She really worked with him on his transitions and making friends. By the time Kindergarten was over the progress he made was like night and day. He was also in the advance reader program which he loved! The summer camp at MCS is amazing too they have a beautiful pool that the kids get to swim in every single day during the summer. He has tons of fun and comes home super tired! I don't know what happened with the negative post below but the staff and other parents have always been super friendly, helpful, and professional. I can assure you this is a school not a daycare. These kids are there to learn and they push them academically. Every single child in my sons Kindergarten class graduated being able to read, write, do simple math, and even tie their own shoes. They have music, Spanish, computers, art, and bible in addition to the basic reading/writing, math, social studies, science etc. They also have sports clubs you can sign your child up after school. The only drawback is the cost but its worth it for what they provide your child.

I'm pleased with MCS. This is my son's first year at the school (first grade). His teacher is very accommodating regarding my son's ADHD, and his class is small enough for a quality learning atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and kind. It's a nurturing school. Any issues I've had have been resolved satisfactorily. In addition, there are multiple families with different religious beliefs that attend the school. I'm pleased with this, because I feel a Christian atmosphere and Christian learning should not solely be offered to those that profess the Christian faith.

I chose this school to give my son a Christian background. Unfortunately they must spend a little too much time on that, because they're frequently behind academically. I've heard this from many other parents as well. One time my son's shirt was removed in class (by a teacher!) & all the children laughed at him and he was very uncomfortable. It took forever for them to apologize to him. I mostly let that go. Until today, which is why I'm writing this. Today during a drill, a teacher (again a teacher) dragged him by his underwear across the floor without warning, to the point where his underwear were halfway pulled out of his pants. Again, all the kids laughed. She claims that he was too close to the door. No excuse for physically treating him that way and embarrassing him. Everything looks good there on the surface, but think twice before choosing this school.

RUN! Don't drink the Kool Aid! Sadly I did, and now our little man is suffering and will have life long impact. In a span of 4 months 2 teachers assaulted my grandson. They actually took his shirt off and made him sit in class like that for 10 minutes because he had the nerve to put on the hood of his MCS sweatshirt. Ok he should have listened, but the teacher had many options other than removing his clothing! They ultimately apologized, in writing, assuring me it was taken very seriously, the teacher appropriately addressed, & it would never ever happen again. We left him in the school since it was close to year end & we didn't want to uproot him. Then just 3 months later yet another teacher that assaulted him by grabbing him by the waste of his pants, pulling out his underwear, and dragged him across the floor. When my sweet little man told me this the second I picked him up at the at the end of the day, I turned and walked him back into the school to talk to the principal. Her response? Well it was a dangerous situation because they were doing a Code Red drill,& he was a bit too close to the door. A DRILL!!! In actuality he was crawling toward his friend who was the one that was next to the door he was on the other side of the friend. He was doing nothing wrong. He was humiliated and bullied by the teacher. All the children laughed at him he will never forget that experience. It makes me mad. They claim they would never tolerate bullying, yet they had 2 teachers that did exactly that to this little boy. When told a child laughed the 1st situation, they said oh no we would never tolerate that. The child was laughing at something a person in authority was doing to another student. But yes, punish the child! Sending my precious, sweet grandson to private school was supposed to be a benefit. Instead, thousands of dollars were spent to watch a child walk into kindergarten testing off the charts, to the 14th% after first grade. I repeatedly shared my concerns. They said oh what a lovely child he is& not to compare children etc. Now he needs to be tutored to catch up. After this last incident he begged me not to make him go back to school. I let him stay home the last 2 days of school, took him to graduation, and allowed him to participate in fun day. He would only go to fun day because I would be there with him. I had an emergency come up & told him I would be late but would be there. He started crying wanting to go but not without someone to "watch him." I tried to reassure him saying there will be other parents there & it will be fine. He could not be consoled. I asked a friend to watch him. That made him more comfortable. But he would not leave her side until I got there. Then he watched me constantly to make sure I was watching him. That child will never forget what happened to him there. They've done this to a 7 yro. If you love your child, do NOT take them to this school or to their camp which is nothing more than a glorified babysitter. I have witnessed the woman that does their books and sits at the front desk be cruel to a child who's loose tooth had been bumped and was crying. Pervasive throughout the school. Don't go there that's all I can say. They call themselves a Christian school, unbelievable. Interesting that they don't allow posts on their Facebook. I noticed only one review on Google Local and that was from my son. There used to be a lot more on Yelp. Not sure where those went! I pray enough people see mine to make a difference at least in their children's lives.
