Mangia - 422 Madison

The food from Mangia is incredible. High quality ingredients at excellent prices. The cooks are very knowledgeable, the food tastes great. Service is great, they always aim to please. Unfortunately the restaurant closes at around 530 p.m. and does not open on weekends. That is my only complaint. Vegetarian options: There is a lot of tasty vegetarian options

Three stars for good food and on-time delivery, -2 stars for awful online ordering system: I deleted items from a future / confirmed order - the items still showed/charged waste of food/$. Another future order kept rejecting my credit card, and by the time the credit card was accepted I have had to place the same order several times - until I missed reviewing the correct date/time; which ended in food getting delivered immediately. The staff member who called me about the delivery was more concerned with charging me very offensive than with understanding what had gone wrong, and/or how to help me with reinstating the order. After making it clear that "getting away" without paying wasn't in any way my intention, I finally got him to help. In short, I'd only order from Mangia if/when it's strictly required since I do not have time to call their staff each time I place an order and/or my revisions to ensure their system has received the order correctly.

High quality clean, pure ingredients, that make for a delightful meal. The “cream of asparagus” soup was amazing. General feedback: pls have at least one vegetarian soup option each week. New Yorker’s are increasingly looking for non-meat options!

Yummy Well-Price Mid Range Italian. A lot to love here with a myriad of options. Lots of helpful staff, great salad and sweet options. Beautiful Italian sandwiches and rolls ... belissimo its all tasty.

Came here for a quick breakfast. Fast crew, everyone's hustling and prices are quite moderate, if you consider the location. Food was fine and everyone very friendly. Can't speak for the lunch or dinner items of the menu, but our Americano breakfast and breakfast sandwich were spot on. The panino was kinda dry and looked like road-kill to be honest, but tasted somewhat decent. Good spot if you're around.

Big portions but big cost typical of midtown. The food is good and the service is friendly. However, be wary of the salad bar as the stairs are directly above it without protection and could have shoe debris.

Delicious chai latte and breakfast sandwich hot the spot. The food is beautiful. I actually was sad I ordered a made to order sandwich when I saw the spread of the premade sandwiches and pastries, they looked so nice.Food: 5/5
