Manhattan Paws Walkers

Vera has been walking my pug Maddie on a daily basis for almost a year now. She is reliable and friendly and is great with giving me updates about their daily walks. Vera is also always willing to do extra walks on weeknights if I have to work late or weekends if I'm gone for less than a full day. I have also used Vera for overnight stays at her home on numerous occasions - and have always been pleased with the care & attention my dog receives. Vera clearly loves dogs so I know mine is in good hands. She also did a great job of informing me when an alternative dog-walker would be walking Maddie while Vera was on a short medical leave. For the price and quality of care you receive with Vera, I highly recommend her services!

Vera has been walking my dog since the day I got him 2 1/2 years ago. She is dependable and keeps him safe. She has never missed a day. Her other walkers are great and on the rare occasion when they need to sub in they have also done a great job. My dog loves his walks with Vera. I appreciate that Vera is always aware of the surroundings and will never take my dog to the dog run or wherever for that matter if there are other dogs she is not familiar with. I appreciate the extra care she takes.

Vera has been walking my huge dog since I met her at a dog park a year and a half ago. She and Joseph have always been flexible with my sometimes crazy schedule. Joseph always notes if there have been any problems with my dog or anything else noteworthy went on during the walk. I've only used Vera for petsitting once, but it was a seamless process and she send me picture updates on how my dog was doing, which was nice. I feel very comfortable with letting Vera and Joseph in to my home and having them care for my dog.

Trustworthy and reliable. I have been using Manhattan Paws Dog Walking Service for close to six years and they have never let me down. Both Vera and Joseph show kindness and concern for both my dogs -- one of which is a diabetic. Vera also protected one of my dogs from an unexpected attack by another dog which was not under control by its owner. She was willing to put herself in danger for my pet. What more can you ask of a dog walker than that?

Vera and my walker Joseph are a wonderful! They work with my crazy schedule and always take excellent care of my dog Penny, an almost 3-year old Pit mix. We've been using them for almost a year !! when I moved to the neighborhood. Walks are individual and prices are excellent. I can always tell how happy Penny is to have spent time with them during the day while I've been away at work. Friends in the neighborhood often see Penny out with her walker and, unsolicited, report back to me that she always is well cared for and extremely happy. Vera is a fantastic dog walker who is reliable and flexible. She has walked our girl, Ree, for a while now and Ree absolutely loves her and looks forward to the walk every day. I'll occasionally get photos and texts from her while she is walking Ree, including updates on whether Ree is feeling sick, and you can tell they have fun together and that Vera really cares. We were away for a week during the holidays and Vera took care of Ree twice a day and we would not have trusted anyone else with Ree's care. We have tried a different dog walker uptown before, but Vera really is the best. Sometimes she even goes above and beyond her own responsibilities and cleans up if Ree has had an accident in the apartment and will bring gifts and treats for Ree! Thanks so much, Vera!

Manhattan Paws is great! They have excellent service and never missed an appointment. More importantly, our dog, Hamlet, LOVES Vera and her team. He is a great dane and a big guy to handle, but they do a great job! We were through a number of dog walkers uptown and have NEVER been disappointed by Vera and Manhattan Paws. Definitely use her team!

We greatly appreciate all of the love and care Vera Owner and Barbara Dog walker have shown our pups during their first months with us. We could always trust that they were loved and well cared for. Vera is great with my dog. She's very accommodating with additional walks and special instructions. Often, she's available on short notice when I'm stuck at work or have plans for the evening. She is definitely a dog person and is a great walker.

I couldn't be happier knowing Vera, and her colleague Joseph, are taking care of my fur-child, Emma, each and every day. Not only does Emma love them both, but they are great communicators when it comes to anything going on with her health, routine, schedule, even weather ; I know they've got her safety and best interests at heart, and knowing I can trust and rely on them makes me feel a little less guilty about leaving her every morning!
