Do not miss this great spot! Great location, great food & great service! This a local owned diner chain that does amazing food. The cinnamon rolls are as big as plate, we didn't have one but they looked wonderful. Pies oh my gosh, apple, pumpkin, pecan & berry! We had breakfast the place was packed with people. I hade the hamburger steak & eggs which came with hash browns & pancakes. There was enough fir four people! The serving sizes are ginormous so I would suggest to share orders. The decor is old Americana and you're made to feel right at home. The offer breakfast, lunch & dinner. The prices are very reasonable so if you're in a budget and want to share this place is a bargain. Truly a family style restaurant and I highly recommend.
Good food at a good price. Friendly waitstaff and a nice atmosphere. My husband had the double burger and my kid and I had breakfast options...we all left satisfied. Only issue we had was the menu said seasoned fries and they were just plain so I’d say get the tots instead. Pies and bakery items looked fresh made. We’d definitely stop in again if passing through town.
I used to love going here. They are yet another victim of short staffing however. I went there for breakfast with about a half dozen of my co-workers. We were looking for a new monthly meeting place after Cherry Creek closed down so we stopped by here. The waitress very earnestly warned us that she was the only one working, that we could sit in the back room but she may or may not get to us. After 15-20 min without even getting drinks we decided to move on. Great food, big portions! If not for that they’d be at one star. When service is good, they’re at least a four star so I hope they get their staffing situation sorted.
This is a very nice place off the beaten path. It is good home style cooking that is rare these days. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the food is great. The staff was friendly and helpful and always there to check on us.Food: 5/5
I understand they were super busy, however the service was really lacking, and the food was mediocre at best. Our meals were brought out before our soup and salad, and the wait staff had the nerve to ask if we wanted them. No tea because 'everyone is too busy to brew any', and one waitress sneezed on a different customers did ace served it anyway. The soup was good, the salad was old, the potatoes were salty but the chicken fried steak was great as usual
I visited this marlins with my family yesterday morning, on Sunday October 17th. Our waitress was Lauren and she was so sweet. She was very busy and running around, but she never missed a beat and never stopped smiling. We asked lots of questions as we don’t have a marlins where we live but Lauren answered every question we had without hesitation. She is very good at her job and marlins is very lucky to have such a knowledgeable positive employee. When we stop here again we will always ask for Lauren.
We have been there a couple times when servers are rude, arguing on the floor. Our last visit this past Sunday our server was extremely rude, annoyed at the table we picked, and I watched her snap at another table. Even their faces were in the "wow" reaction. Don't know her name. But will not sit with her again if she's still there. Otherwise good little diner. Traditional breakfast
Love the Saturday night specials. Two people can eat for $25.00. choice of main dish what ever you want to drink pop or coffee and a piece of pie for dessert.Food: 5/5
I would Like to see pumpkin Pancakes added, but the food is always really good!! Lauren and Kathy are great in the mornings!! Will always come to eat with those two!
Wow. Good food at a good price. Home-cooked. Chilli was amazing! Hamburger steak was good and of course have to have it all covered in gravy. Wish the mashed potatos portion was a little bigger. Ill definitely be back but perhaps in the spring when it's not -17! Lol. Parking: Plenty of parking even for semi trucks. I drive one and was easy to get in and out
