I really like Marmot gear but was sorely disappointed by the shop. The women's selection was skeletal. I don't know if it had been busy and they were wiped out or what. The men's section was relatively well stocked and carried more variety. The store's saving Grace is it's employees. They were very friendly and helpful. The crew at Marmot answered every question in a friendly manner. I will definitely pop back next season to see if there is more selection.
The staff was sweet but they were a bit busy. I have to say that Marmot is one of my favorite stores, this one was not. Parking is almost impossible and not validated. The bathroom is clean and easy to find but items were very limited and sizes weren't very inclusive. I heard "no, that's our only size in that..." multiple times.
I rarely leave reviews, but my husband and I went into this location yesterday to get some gear for an upcoming trip at the end of February. We’ve done some research on what we’ll need and thought we were prepared until we actually saw all of the options available. We were starting to feel a bit overwhelmed until the tall employee with the long hair came over to help us. Despite the store being super busy with a sale going on, both employees that were working were kind and helpful and didn’t make us feel like a nuisance with our endless newbie questions. We came in feeling overwhelmed and left feeling totally prepared thanks to them. We’ll definitely be back.
We went into this store looking for a specific type of active fit midlayer. I’m a competitive ski racer and climber. I spend most weekends in the mountains and worked in the outdoor gear industry for 6 years. My point being, I am VERY experienced. The woman who helped us was older, wearing bright read lipstick and extremely condescending. I think her name started with an A. She kept telling me that Marmot was designed for experienced hikers and skiers and climbers, implying that I wasn’t and didn’t know what I was talking about. She was very wrong, very offensive and absolutely lost a sale because I had planned on buying some base layers even if they didn’t have the specific type of jacket I was looking for.
Staff is super friendly. The 50% off seasonal sales are great! Marmot makes high quality gear for anyone who loves the great outdoors and being out in the element!
Staff is very nice and store is nice and laid out well. My only complaint is the return process always takes a long time - usually 10-15 minutes. Not sure why the systems are so slow but there is definitely room for improvement.
As close to the top of a 14er as you can get inside Denver city limits, the Marmot shop has everything you'll need for your weekend junket to the mountains. Knowledgable employees and a relaxed snowboarder atmo. Mobbed on Fridays with Aspen jet-set types in bold stripped shirts and expensive denim. If you cant find it here, you won't need it up there. - Arik Katzenberg
Less selection of Marmot clothes than REI has just a couple miles away. The employees were pretty helpful though!
What's not to love? A whole store dedicated to one of the best brands in the industry, the Marmot store has everything you need. Jackets, pants, sleeping bags, and more.
I like Marmot clothing and had always liked this store; however, this Christmas season I felt very disrespected by an employee named Kyle. I honestly doubt that I'll go back to the Cherry Creek store anymore and will instead just order online to not have to deal with him.
