I've always wanted to try on frye boots before I bought them. I bought a pair online but they weren't even close to my size. This store gave me the chance to find my fit and I did! I've bought 3 pairs of boots for myself and 4 pairs for my wife since this store has opened. Ive since moved on to belts and a hat there.
Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Frye shoes have a reputation for being high quality and durable, so I went in ready to purchase if I found a good fit. I have narrow feet and tried on 7 or 8 pairs until I finally found a pair of every day boots
Great store with an excellent exterior. The staff was very personable and gave me great advice. They had a big selection of shoes. The shoes range from around 100-500 a piece. They also have leather jackets, purses, and luggage bags. Their shoe selection depends on the season. In the summer they have sandals, heels, sneakers, flats, short boots, and cowboy-style boots as well. In the winter they have long knee-high boots. If properly taken care of, these boots will last a lifetime. Worth the investment.
This review is only for my most recent experience at Frye which was this afternoon. I'be been in Frye a number of times over the past couple years and have found the staff friendly, helpful and pleasant. But the saleswoman who interacted with me today was curt, impatient and somewhat antagonistic. It seemed like she was arguing with every comment I made about the shoes I'd tried on.
Note: This review is on customer service only, not the products. Really poor service tonight, not at all impressed. Walked up and one of the doors was already locked, so I tried the other and it was open. The store was empty when I went in and two women came out from the back. When I asked if they were still open, one looked at their watched and said "only for a couple minutes." It was 7:35 and they were supposed to be open until 8:00 which I didn't know until I looked it up on my phone after walking out. I asked about a bag I had seen in an Atlanta Frye store this past weekend and was told that they don't sell bags like that, but that I could look on Zappos if it was a sale bag of theirs. No offer to show me other bags or provide any other service. I stated that I wanted to look at the sale shoes since there was a huge sign in the window and one woman waved at a table and told me all the sandals were there and walked away. I felt super uncomfortable and didn't end up looking around past that table because I looked at the time and thought that they maybe had closed a few minutes before and was overstaying my time. I didn't find out until I walked out that they were open for another 20+ minutes. I've worked in retail and customer service and know that it's not the greatest when people come in at the end of the shift, but there's a difference in coming in 25 minutes before closing vs 5 minutes. Having a locked door and making people feel rushed/unwelcome with that much time left is unacceptable. I know this is a long rant, but I really hate service like this in high end stores where you're trying to invest in a quality product and the people who work there make you feel as if you're not worth their time.
Snobby. Apparently not very thorough either. I bought a purse in red because the sales woman said they didn't have it in black. When I got home and opened the bag it wasn't red or black, it was brown. I had to make another trip to the store and park in cherry creek-yuk. I suppose I'm equally to blame for not checking it before I left. But the sales person just couldn't care less about the mistake or inconvenience. Frye products are top notch though!
It had been a while since I had new boots and was happy to see that Cherry Creek had a location not far at all from the Denver area. Alix was very attentive and made me and family felt welcomed. I love my boots and will definitely be coming back!
Love the product and the two sales personnel are awesome. We spend time chatting with both but never asked them for names, shame on me. Both the guy and girl today and yesterday were working. Never any pressure to buy, which we like. Hopefully they will get recognition.
This is a fantastic store, and the employees make it all the better. I needed help with an exchange and Angie and Annabelle were there to help make it happen quick and easy. I will refer this place to anyone who are wanting great boots and want to have a good customer service experience. Thank you ladies!!
Just had a great experience with Peter, one of the salesmen at the store. He was super knowledgeable and kind. He made our experience at the store so much better than any other time we visited a Frye store!
