Amazing! They have the best cinnamon rolls in Gent. The biscoff milkshake tastes so good. Highly recommend you to try something, you can't choose wrong because everything is super delicious. And it smells amazing in the shop.Food: 5/5
While I was searching for “cheese cake” I came across this bakery thought web which was advertised as the first American bakery. With a positive reviews I couldn’t help but I had to check this place out. It’s located nearby the South of Gent with the tram it’s makes it even more easy to get ti this place if you don’t like walking. The display of store is nice and store’s interior is simple but love the wall on the other sides framed posters and world card, post probably some of the visitors pinned it. The the owners of this bakery store were very friendly and lovely, even got recommendations when we were having a hard time deciding more like myself as my fiancé wanted to try out red velvet and even got excited to get a whole cake. I just have to say I didn’t regret getting the whole cake because it was soooooo delicious! The cake itself was not heavy and I really loved it so addictive. Also the latte one with hazelnut and other one with caramel were just amazing! I can’t say anything else than just go try it yourself totally recommend it to the dessert lover. I can’t wait for next visit because if I was living nearby I would have gone here daily. Also you can eat in the store but you need to standup or do takeaway.
What a charming place! The staff were amazingly friendly and the cinnamon buns are to die for. They even have a cute pin board that shows where visitors come from all over the globe.
I don't know if I was lucky and got a good batch or if they are always this massive but I'm definitly not complaining. The price/quality is great and although it's big the bread is fluffy! Excited to try the apple flavour and any future additions.
As an American living in Europe, this was a fantastic taste of home. I cannot reccomend it enough! Delicious food and friendly service!
Favorite place in Gent. As an American living abroad, this is by far the best, comforting sweets I’ve had ever. Yes, better than anything I have even had in the states! Run, don’t walk here. You will be greeted with the best service, the best cinnamon rolls, and the best aromas. Enjoy every single bite, and then go back for more!
Excellent chocolate chip cookies, pies and cheesecake! I've converted my Belgian husband who is in love with the blueberry pie. By far the best cinnamon bun/roll anywhere in Belgium-I have tried them all! Highly recommend!
Hands down the greatest cinnamon roll I've ever had. Would gladly travel the 232 miles it would take to have them again!
Best cinnamon rolls in the world, you HAVE to try them. And also the peanut butter cookies. And the cheesecakes. Try everything.
So, growing up, every year for my birthday, my mom would make cinnamon rolls. They were huge and gooey and so so good. Since moving to Europe 12 years ago, I have only gotten them twice, once when I was home for my birthday and once when I was in Spain with a friend from home who called my mom to get the recipe. Well, today, I popped into Ma's Bakery, and even though it isn't my birthday, I bought myself a cinnamon roll. HOLY MOLY was that a good idea. It was so tasty and fluffy and messy. One bite and I was 10 years old, sitting in my mom's kitchen, birthday hat on, feeling so loved. Add to that they had snickerdoodles, my favorite cookie in the whole wide world. Yes, I make them myself, but there is something about eating baked goods someone else put time and love into. Needless to say, I was the happiest Gillian in all of Gent today. I can't wait to get cinnamon rolls next year for my birthday.
