Marta mobility is not a good bus service. The bus service either don't show up to pick the passengers up even if it's at night. The bus service dispatch will say for your pick up time at 10pm we will have to reschedule for u to be picked at 12 midnight. We don't have any drivers that's always the excuse! Even when the bus service picks u up and is late the bus driver say, u have to ride to my next drop off place and then I'll drop u off even though u are already late to your drop stop. The bus service really needs to improve and dispatch really need more customers skill training.
all good. As long as they working parking validation in stations which i think one is working of 3 at Lindbergh. I have to go to other side of station. Validate then back track. I was charged 16 dollars for not having a validation and my car was parked in garage for 18 hrs.
As an Atlanta native that’s lived in major cities I would have to say that Atlanta public transportation is the absolute worst. There’s been a couple of times where Ive been waiting for canceled bus without notice bc the app does not inform you or is inaccurate causing me to be late to my engagements. All I could think is what if I was working and was headed into work ? I called in to figure out what was going on, the operator informed me that they were understaffed and was hiring. The same day I filled out an application online and signed up to attend the job fair that they have twice a month. About 2 weeks go by and hours before the job fair I received an email from HR informing me that I need to bring in certain documents which wouldn’t have been a problem if I had enough notice to actually find the docs. I responded back with my concern and they informed me it was okay if I didn’t have the docs and that eventually I would need to bring them in. why did they wait hours before the event to inform applicants about these documents ?? and Why wasn’t this included in the initial email? One two many red flags coming for an employer so I decided not to put forth any more energy in regards to employment. Another week or two goes by and I receive a call regarding my online application, spoke to the rep briefly and was told that someone would be calling me back to move forward and I never received a call back but today I received an email letting me know that my submission has expired yet they’re actively hiring smh I see why they’re constantly understaff. In between all of this I had an issue with the trips that were loaded on my card so I called into the customer service line to find a solution, I was told that I would receive a credit and it never came. I just let it go bc atp I’m tired of dealing with them. Marta has been around for so long and upsetting to see that it hasn’t grown but only gotten worse imo. Makes me wonder what’s really going on bc this makes no sense. Smh
Marta tends to be unreliable. I've waited up to over an hour for a canceled bus without knowing it was even canceled more than once. Many times I've made it on-time just to see crowds of people who waited 2 hours! Not everyone is into new technology apps etc., smartphones so lots of people cant keep up with cancelations and delayed buses/trains. Don't get me started on the trains. - But their new digital tickets have gotten better. Not that reliable but if you don't have lost a card or don't have cash, it can be good for emergencies. Still needs work though. There are good points too, like more police presence, a few electric buses not on Southside yet, disinfecting and deoderizing the buses, training new drivers, customer service workers that care. Good changes to come.
125 is a pain in my side! It's hardly ever on time. And when it doesn't show up, you never know cause they don't tell you on the app that it's cancelled. It's especially annoying on the weekend cause you can't call customer service for help. They need to have customer service open 7 days til 11pm.
Service must be done on the trains. Trains being stopped at the stations and in between stations due to faulty equipment can't be a sustainable system.
MARTA Gold Line is ALWAYS running late due to ALWAYS stopping in between Lenox Station and Lindbergh Station. The train line is ALWAYS late to Five Points Station for passengers to transfer to the Blue Line Westbound to Hamilton E. Holmes Station. Also, trains SHOULDN'T BE running every 20 minutes. They should be running every 5-10 MINUTES.
WHERE IS OUR MONEY GOING MARTA!? You’ve delivered nothing in over 20 years and the current timeline suggests it will be another 4 years before we see anything. Does it smell like corruption in here to anyone?
The lady behind the counter was very kind and helpful.
Drivers that couldn’t care less about the consumers they serve. Constant attitude despite the fact you’re gainfully employed and can take care of your families. Refuse to update schedules because that information isn’t important to the customers I guess so, constant delays on train rails for utterly stupid reasons. Refuse to even address concerns or issues regarding service. SLOW. In literally every single aspect. The number of homeless and mentally unstable that are allowed to commute on these trains and harass and make people uncomfortable is ridiculous. But I’m sure nobody will read this and things will continue to go on as they have. Maybe reform and new leadership is needed?
