Marta's Cleaners

They do a decent job for a normal price for the city but it is rarely done on time. I actually don't care how long it takes in total, but I have essentially never been told an accurate ETA on my dry cleaning will be ready. I am ~90% of the time told to come back the next day after I initially try to pick it up on the day + time they told me it will be ready. Also, they've tried to charge me for things I've already paid for but that only happened once.Services: Alterations

Update: this place used to be great when the old owner was there. Now they have lost two pairs of expensive jeans within a few months. Stay away. They are amazing. Same day wash and fold with pick up and drop off, cheap, and they do an amazing job every time. My clothes are always clean and smell great. They use high quality detergent. The woman at the front desk is super sweet. And when I left a lot of cash in my jeans, they found it and returned it to me. Best service in Brooklyn hands down.

I had my pants altered on the waist to make it lilttle tighter. I tried on the pants and turned out it’s too tight. And they put the logo in the wrong place and logo was supposed to be sewed with red thread but it’s black and sewed roughly. I have attached the before/after photos since I have two pairs of this. Bad tailoring and not professional. Also the girl on the front wasn’t nice. Don’t recommend for alternation. Very disappointed.

Unquestionably the best professional cleaners in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Quality dry cleaning, wash and fold, and tailoring. Fast and reliable pickup and delivery. Marta and her friendly staff take care of their customers. They go the extra mile. The service is consistent. I’d highly recommend to anyone new or living in the Burg.

I have been going to Marta’s for about 3 years. Marta and her employees are super friendly and always go above and beyond. They always get my wash and fold done same day, and it’s super affordable. I highly recommend Marta’s for everything from wash and fold to alterations!

My slipcover looks great! I went to Marta’s for the first time after spilling coffee on a white chair. I had to agree to a disclaimer that the slipcover might not fit since slipcovers sometimes lose shape after washing, so I thought I’d share my experience that I’m super pleased with mine. The fresh coffee stains have been removed, along with tough older stains that I didn’t think could come out. The cost was also reasonable at $75. Thanks, Marta’s Cleaners!

Wonderful tailor who has helped us out when we really needed it, more than once. He even stayed late to work on something for us when he knew how sentimental it was to us. Great place, trustworthy and reliable.

Been coming here for seven or eight years now - they have always handled my clothes with professionalism. I have had a bunch of alterations done here too, and all of them came out really well.

Dropped off a dress to be altered and when I went to pick it up was told it wasn’t ready yet. Picked up the dress 2 days later and tried it on when I got home only to find no alteration was made. Called to complain where they admitted nothing was done but charged me anyway… very unprofessional.
