Mary Jo's Performing Arts

Mary jos is an excellent studio, my 3 girls have been at this studio 4 years and I love the teachers and they have grown in there dancing life’s. My girls are always telling us and show me there new dances or combos the teachers create. I’ve seen my girls dance all there lives and we have been to many studios and this is by far the best. They offer so many auditions such as the Joffrey what others studios do u know of that would hold auditions at your studio and not having to drive all the way to some other states. This is a great studio and I’m very excited to see my girls grow in their dancing careers.

Affordable and great teachers. My kid loved it because it's fun. The kids seem nice and staff is polite.

My daughter has been here 4 years now (she is 12) and absolutely loves it. She is going into her 4th year as a competitive dancer. The ballet teachers-Jennifer and Mr. Stan are wonderful! The online system to register and pay is fantastic and I have friends at other studios that are cash/check only and you have to register in person. I appreciate a stream line system to register and purchase recital tickets! Thank you! Each year MJPAA puts on the Nutcracker at Usf and it is a first class production

Really unhappy with this place. This is our second season - only because it is close to the house. Cons: 1. No where to sit (or even stand) 2. Hot crowded dusty waiting room, can't even see the kids on these old tv's over 15 feet in the air. 3. The students sit for 10 minutes out of 45 minutes getting stickers (eye roll). 4. We are doing Creative Dance for the second time and the SAME routine is done over and over. It looks like an obstacle course. 5. Studio is in need of a Major Upgrade. Seating, T.V.'s, etc. 6. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour listening to 3 other parents complain about the studio {great vibe}. 7. I arrived yesterday for dance and the studio was closed. (another eye roll) There were 3 other parents there very upset. No one was notified that classes were canceled. 8. Communication and Customer Service ... terrible. Pros: They offer a lot of classes. There are so many better studios in the Tampa Bay Area!

Wonderful staff and healthy environment! They teach the joy of dancing in class and in life. So much more than just dance instruction.
