Sara was amazing and very friendly! It just like catching up with an old friend! My skin looks amazing after her facial. My cheeks are normally red and blotchy and it’s looks like wearing concealer without a drop of makeup on! My skin is also feeling fabulous. All the ingredients she used smelled so good! Definitely going back!

This is my friend Sara's spa and it's beautiful. She does great work and is very knowledgeable about healthy, clean skin care. She did a facial treatment on me earlier in the year and for the rest of that day I felt more handsome than I had in many years.

Karen goes above and beyond to help her client's. She takes each seriously. Takes complete assurance in your needs and designs and makes a plan for you. She listens intently. Materia Medica is so clean, beautiful welcoming and heart warming just like Karen. I truly believe she's an angel sent to earth. She helps so many. It's truly amazing all she does. She has so much wisdom, knowledge and understanding in her field and beyond.

I have loved every appointment I have had at Materia Medica! Sara gives the most amazing facials and insight on ways to improve your daily skin routine. The products are so gentle on my skin and have completely cleared away all insecurities when it comes to blemishes on my face. They also have the most beautiful, personalized, organic spray tans! The space is adorable and quaint and the staff is so welcoming and always offering to help with whatever you need. I would recommend Materia Medica to everyone!

This shop is amazing. Everything gives off a beautiful energy and it envelops you the entire time you're in there. I have a whole shelf in my home dedicated to the wonderful herbs, blends, infusions, shrubs, and so.much.more I have purchased from here. If you're looking for somewhere on the southside to find healing, natural, organic products- this is it! I'm in awe each time I step through the doors and browse. Karen and Adriane are a WEALTH of beautiful, healthful information.

Visiting and browsing the small space of Materia Medica is definitely a delightful, multi-sensory experience! Ensconced in the elegantly renovated Nest Office Suites formerly Jonathan Byrd’s cafeteriain Greenwood, IN, Karen and her staff continuously educate themselves on herbal medicine and healing, resulting in an artisanal array of beneficial products and services. I’ve so far enjoyed the quality of my purchases and look forward to sampling more!
