I've been seeing Dr. O'Dwyer for many years and her expertise and professionalism is outstanding. She has a very good understanding of what what needs to be addressed regarding vision concerns and provides excellent advice, medication if needed and recommendations to pursue proper eye care. I feel confident and sure that when I get my eyes examined the analysis will be through and course of action effective.

Dr Crisostomo is very new to the practice, so maybe other doctors are better. But she needs to work on her bedside manner I waited for 15-20 min - no courtesy apology when she walked in as if being late is completely normal; not personable. My eye exam didn't feel as thorough as what I'd had at other locations. All in all, one and done, I had my eyes checked but not coming back.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Colavito for some years. I feel confident that I’m getting a thorough examination. Dr. Colavito cheerfully answers any questions I may have and efficiently fine-tunes my lens prescription. She thoroughly reviews with me the ‘pictures’ taken of my retinas/optic nerves, explaining how various things might impact my day-to-day experience. Since I’ve retired, I’ve tried to use various doctors closer to my home north of NYC. But when it’s time for my eye exam, I’m happy to revisit Manhattan and Dr. Colavito. I’m getting good care and she is ‘good company’ to boot!

I have been going to Primary Eye Care for years and was very happy with my recent exam by Dr. Crisostomo, who is new to the practice. Dr.Crisostomo was very personable, attentive, and thorough. Following my exam, she directed me to the Optical shop, where she explained my specific needs to the optician. I was fitted with the perfect frames and custom lenses for my high prescription. Dr. Cristotomo is a wonderful addition to the practice.

I would give more stars if I could. Everyone in this office is extremely professional and helpful. The office runs like a well oiled machine, and at every step of your visit you are cared for with great detail.

I have been a patient of Dr.O'Dwyer for the last seven years. The doctor is very pleasant and knowledgeable. The office is nice, quiet and well maintained. All girls working there are absolutely amazing, thoughtfull and extremely helpful. The appointments are on point. I never had to wait more than a few minutes until a technician started the tests and eventually I saw the doctor. Last month I had a problem with a pair of glasses I ordered and I was very upset about it. Rose went above and beyond to help with my problem. I really appreciated that. This way instead of an unpleasant experience it became pleasant... not to mention that I am very happy with my glasses and overall experience.

This is such a fantastic office! The physical space is clean and welcoming, and the waiting rooms and exam rooms are comfortable and quiet. The women at Reception are friendly, helpful and polite. The technological equipment used to perform eye exams is is not only cutting-edge, but I could tell how carefully and purposefully everyone studied the results of each exam and entered the corresponding notes into my chart - no one seemed rushed or harried an all too common and dangerous! practice in medicine and healthcare today. Each Practitioner was helpful, warm and conscientious, and Dr. Colavito is awesome - she not only made me feel I was in the absolute best hands for my eye care, but she seemed to want to teach and educate me about what she was examining in my eyes and why so that I understood. I appreciated that. She spent a significant amount of time with me, and - again - I did not feel rushed. The office also has an in-house eyeglasses shop where you can pick out new frames with your fresh prescription, and that made the whole thing feel extra-easy and fun. This is a fabulous practice.
