Mazaar Lebanese Cuisine

We recently visited Windsor for the Ontario provincial swim tournament. Mazaar was recommended to us by friends who had visited before and I can safely say that it did not disappoint. The food was very tasty but beware the garlic breath that will follow as it is used in most of their dishes. The wait staff and decor also elevated the experience. The only criticisms are the lighting and the price. We found it to be quite dark without any light over our actual table. Even a few tea candles would have improved this. Most importantly you do not get what you paid for when it comes to portions. The same food at a less chic restaurant is about half the price. Overall though it was an enjoyable evening.

Food was amazing and staff was attentive until... we were overcharged for a dinner that should have been half the price! Tried to politely argue the point to no avail! And the final straw was they DO NOT give a discount for currency. We had bought 4 meals,appetizers, and cocktails. Did not mind spending money for night out but felt like waitress tried to take advantage of situation! We have been there several times with no issues other than currency exchange! I would still recommend restraunt due to wonderful food and ambience! Just be mindful of your bill! Still love the place!

My sweetheart took me out for my birthday here, it was the first time that they played happy birthday to the central loudspeaker system and brought out dessert simultaneously. As far as the food goes, it was quite well done. Giving the fact that my girlfriend is a middle eastern, and that she was impressed, I think that should say it all. The atmosphere was quite called, very romantic, and the lighting inside was well thought out.

Great Lebanese food. Upscale dining area. Friendly and attentive service. I had the fattoush salad with chicken which was done perfectly. Chicken was not over cooked, pita was crispy, and salad was seasoned to perfection. Nice work Mazzar!

Always a pleasure to visit.. ambiance, decor, staff and the A+ cuisine. I've visited several times, quaint date nights with the girls, family nights and events in the side large room.. every experience was enjoyable
