Very bad experience using this company as property managers for one of my locations. 5 months without a tenant and when I finally visited the property it was disgusting and unlivable, with trash strewn around the property. Stay away!

Super company, nice people, did everything as promised when promised. They even answer the telephone and return calls which is a surprise in the world today! I highly recommended McKinnis Real Estate for any of your housing needs! Very honest and professional! Thank you guys for all you have done for me and my family!!

My experience has been a nightmare. When we did our first walk-through of the home, it was obvious that not one person had taken the time to make sure the home was suitable to show. It was disgustingly dirty, human feces were left in the toilet in the hall bathroom, and that water hadn't been turned on in I don't know how long. General dirtiness was pervasive, live bugs in the basement, random pieces of wood and debris. The stove that was being replaced was just left in the kitchen, the property manager joked that "...if you wanted to take it out, you could." After the initial walk-through, she said that the issues that were discussed would be taken care of. I had to have the water turned on myself, before I took possession of the home. Once the water was turned on, the line for the ice-maker in the fridge(there is no ice-maker in the fridge) was not capped and in leaked into the basement for at least 12 hours. The ceiling and drywall had to be ripped apart, the carpet was completely saturated with water. We were told this this was a "high-priority" but literally nothing was done in the basement(This happened on a Monday) until over a week and half later. The hot water in the hall bath has not worked since we moved into the home, I have mice in the ceiling in one of my closets. I could go on, and explain in detail every thing that has gone wrong, but suffice to say, if you want to rent a home, do not consider this company.

After looking for more than 6 months we finally found a home online. We immediately called we were in luck it had only been posted 3 hours. For the first time we were told our furbabies were welcome. We toured the home and instantly felt at home. The property manager took all of our information on Friday afternoon. She took the time to send me a text message on Sunday to let me know we were approved! We have had some small issues with the home, but with an older home they were expected. Ever issue has been immediately addressed and taken care of. I am so glad we signed a 2 year lease with McKinnis. We will be here until we buy our own home. We are very happy with our choice to rent with Ms. Cindy and the McKinnis Family.
