Very good small location, free parling only after 5:00 pm or before 7:00 am. It gets busy from 5 to 6 pm the pool specially during that time is on high demand. Small .9 mile track. Very friendly personnel
Not impressed with this office. I have seen 2 different doctors here. The first didn't listen to a word I said. I was continuously pushed off by her and was told nothing was wrong with me. I sought other advise. I then saw another doctor there who was supposed to refill my prescription for mental health medication that never sent the prescription to the pharmacist! I had to call back 3 times just to try and get this done. It sucks because this office is in the building I work at and was great for convenience, but I will be seeking care else where now.
My visit with Dr. Kyle was very pleasant but my parking pass was stamped for 1.5 hours and my visit was longer. Without thinking, I left the office, got food and when I got to the parking deck to leave, my scan said I owed $9. So, I tried to contact the office and of course it took me about 30 minutes or more to reach a person. Mean while, I held up traffic in the parking deck and it was ridiculous to the point that I decided to just pay the $9. I was very upset because under no circumstances should I have had to pay never have before for parking! When I finally did reach a person in the office, I was almost back at my job/office. Once I shared my experience with the staff member, she assured me that she would share with office manager in hopes of getting my money refunded to me and that someone would contact me. As of today, it has been 2 days and i haven't heard from anyone. This is sad!
I used to come here. They had a knack for diagnosing problems that I didn't have any certainly were not bothering me. This last time I tried to make an appointment for a basic checkup and schedule my 50-year maintenance and the person, Landon, could not make the appointment and stopped talking to me. I could still hear him breathing on the phone so I know it wasn't a technical issue. I scheduled an appointment for another branch office of Atrium in town over where I used to live.
If you have any sort of serious medial concern, don't waste your time coming to this doctor's office. Don't get me wrong, my doctor is great- but the 30 minutes of 1:1 attention is overshadowed by their terrible communication. The associates who answer the MyAtrium App messages are uneducated and apathetic. I have been waiting for a month now just to get a referral and every time they give you some run around excuse as to why you don't have a resolution. Borderline wanting to report them for Condition H neglect to actually get the help I need. This office is a point and case of doctors offices becoming revenue focused and forgetting about the patient. Good luck trying to get the Office Manager, or any staff really to call you back.
First off, if visiting, know that your GPS will likely tell you to park in the wrong place, meaning you pay for parking and they can't validate it. Nothing is labeled, there are no signs as to where anything is, and I sat on the phone, listening to 'pre answer waiting music' for almost ten minutes before anyone picked up when I called to ask how to find the place. Because of that, I got there about 15 minutes after my appointment 5 minutes looking, 10 on hold trying to get help, and they canceled it. So, if you need care and can't arrive 30 minutes early for an office scavenger hunt, avoid this place and go somewhere else. If you have time to kill though, it seemed like a halfway decent office from the lobby I finally got to see.
The worst practice ever and I’ve been employed with Atrium for over 2 decades. I had an ultrasound done a month ago in 2 areas. I only received a call weeks later about one and had to ask about the other ultrasound results. I was told that I’d need a biopsy done and it’s been 4 weeks since I took the exam and over 2 weeks since I verbally got my results back and it’s disheartening that I had to ask about those and I’m STILL WAITING for someone to schedule the biopsy. I’ve been given misinformation about my results from the nurse and compared her information to what was displayed in my chart. I have called and asked to speak with the nurse manager and left 2 messages and that person has YET to call me back, so commenting under my review acting concerned at this moment will not fly. I will follow the proper chain of command with this one. This is unacceptable and I’m saddened because this is an organization in which I’m employed and someone dropped the ball BIG TIME with my referral that I was told today was never put in. Unacceptable!!!!!
I have been nothing but super satisfied with Dr. Blake Goodbar and his team of medical professionals. The wait time is always short, and he takes time to speak to you about all of your concerns. I have never felt rushed.
Please visit and see for yourself. I had a wonderful experience start to finish. I scheduled my appointment via the Carolina Health Care System email process. I gave my details and preferences and an Outreach specialist found my a doctor and appointment within a week. I arrive early and was immediately helped. I maybe 10 mins before heading back. My Brenda and Dr. Colbert with friendly and efficient and made me feel welcomed and at ease. I can definitely see myself coming here for a while. I actively use Google Reviews and almost dismissed Mecklenburg Medical Group because of the reviews; I'm glad I didn't. I am very happy with the service and care there. I encourage you to go for yourself and give your own verdict.. Maybe because I went in in the AM it was different or i dealt with different staff than the poor reviews but I don't see how they could review so low.
I hear the doctors are great, but if you ever have to pick up a prescription for someone because you are a nice person who does nice things or have to deal with the receptionist s, I feel sorry for you. I can't think of a single visit where I left this place with a smile, or without that brick in your stomach feeling which comes from dealing with very snippy, aggressive and all in all unpleasant people. They should all be fired and replaced with machines, the cold efficiency would make sense, and a machine doesn't treat you like garbage/nuisance , at least not on purpose.
