We went here with my boyfriend’s mother for Mothers Day. The restaurant was packed wall to wall. We were pretty cramped/uncomfortable where we were seated and the restaurant was very loud. The staff handled the crowd well; service was good. The food was mostly pretty good. The brunch menu is not extensive, but it’s a good option for a boozy brunch. I got the steak and eggs with the parfait to start. The parfait was good, but it was quite large and very sweet, so it felt more like a dessert to me than a first course I didn’t finish it. The steak was good but I wished there was more the plates were a bit small and the steak was sliced very thin, so it looks like more than it is. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, but could have used more salt. My boyfriend got the French toast, which was excellent.
The set dinner menu is bread, salad, fries and steak or grilled mushroom as a vegetarian option. The best part of Medium Rare is their steak sauce. It makes everything taste better and honestly the reason to even come here. The steak is very thinly cut and served to your cooked preference. You also receive a second serving of steak and fries during your dinner! For the price, you get a decent amount of meat. Service was great and even though they just serve three things, they do them well.
Only $27 for bread, a salad, and two servings of meat and fries...what a great deal! The salad is good and is a mix of lettuce, salad dressing and tomatoes. The meat and fries come with a delicious sauce. I've always looked at ordering dessert because their cake is huge and looks so good. I always see many people celebrating birthdays here. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outside is quite pleasant and they have a lot of room with many tables. Parking is easy in the neighborhood.
Very tasty brunch. The steak was cooked very well and the eggs were a perfect sauce. Salad had a horseradish vinegar on it that I digged. Mimosas used fresh or at least good orange juice. Definitely a try.
Love- love- love! This is my second visit and it’s even better the second time! Lisa, Nick, Flora, and the entire staff were welcoming, friendly and made sure my dinner and dessert were fantastic. While I came for the steak- Lisa’s espresso martini was INCREDIBLE! Come enjoy- relax, and get that espresso martini as your night cap! Made with actual espresso. Service. Food. Company. Five stars.
The restaurant offers a pre fixed meal either suitable for meat lovers or vegetarians. It’s a really cool experience because there’s nothing complicated about the food, or the menu. The steak was delicious and cooked to point. There’s 2 servings of the meal so you will for sure leave with a full belly.
Overall pretty disappointed. The steak was overall very mediocre and tasteless. I question whether or not they preseasoned or salted the steak before cooking. I could only taste the mushroom sauce they put over the steak. I don't think the steak here was worth the price. The drinks and fries were good. The sizes of the dessert were massive and the chocolate cake was good.
Tasty- Popular - Great Location Our first experience here was Saturday brunch, which in June 2022 was $28.99 per person. They have a lovely air conditioned indoor seating or just as nice outdoor sitting with umbrellas. Brunch is only on the weekends from 10:30 to 2:30. My friend got the French toast which is massive, and I got steak and eggs. I thought it might be like a New York strip steak plus eggs on the side, but it was a very tender already sliced perhaps like a tenderloin beef. This is a very popular location in Arlington and we did make reservations, just a suggestion. Note: they have a special during brunch where some cocktails like a bloody Mary is only $.25.
We were late for our reservation on New Years Eve but they were still very accommodating. Food was good and came out right. It was odd that so little fries were given but other then that it was wonderful.Food: 4/5
Really enjoyed dinner here! Set menu: bread, little salad, & 2 portions of this plate of fries and steak. $27. Nice service and atmosphere. I suggest having a reservation bc it was really busy when we went.
