What if I told you that there was one thing you could do to ensure your wedding day was absolutely perfect? Well that "thing" is hiring Meggie Francisco Events! I've been trying to find the right words to articulate just how amazing our experience with Meggie was but I am not sure that I will ever be able to appropriately express how lucky we felt to have her orchestrating our day and the months of planning leading up to it. From the moment I met Meggie, I knew that I could trust her. She is warm and charismatic, and has some truly enviable levels of organizations. As soon as we signed onboard, we put Meggie in a pressure-cooker with our requests, demands, and short timeline. She never once let her professionalism slip and we truly believe there is not another planner or person that could have pulled our wedding day off to the level of perfection that she did. Meggie plans a wedding like she was born doing it, like every detail and task is as easy for her as breathing. It is rare to find a planner that can deliver on both logistics and design but she nailed every single detail. We gave her our vision and she exceeded all of our expectations! She managed to craft a day that felt like "us" in every way. Our wedding day would not have been possible without her and we owe Meggie a never-ending amount of "Thank you"s.

Meggie served with me as committee member for a non-profit fundraiser in December 2019 and her contributions were nothing short of remarkable. Although our committee knew that it would be beneficial to have a professional event planner join our charge, we could have never been prepared for how impactful Meggie was in taking our event to the next level. Her professionalism was only outdone by her resourcefulness and creativity. Meggie has an innate way of solving problems before any one else knows they exist. Simply put, Meggie knows good events: she knows how to design them, how to create them, and how to implement them. The event, which had run for about 9 years prior to Meggie joining the team, had always been a good event. However, with Meggie at our side, it was absolutely fantastic! We would welcome the opportunity to work with Meggie again any time.

Meggie and her team did an amazing job with this wedding, down to the final detail. Since my husband is a pastor, we attend a fair number of wedding rehearsals and ceremonies - Meggie is one of the best planners we've seen in action. She proactively handled any issues that came up, and was very protective of the bride & groom so they were free to simply enjoy making memories with loved ones. Highly recommend!

It is difficult for me to even know where to begin in describing what a gift Meggie Francisco is. From having to navigate finding me a new hair stylist in the last two weeks, to finding creative ways to execute our dreams within our budget, to putting out last-minute fires, to building an incredible wedding vendor team that pulled off everything without a hitch, Meggie does everything. And the best part, she does it all with grace, class, and a genuine compassion that makes her an amazing gem. Please look no further! Meggie Francisco is truly world-class.

I had the privilege of officiating as a pastor a wedding where Meggie served as the coordinator. Without question, Meggie is by far the best coordinator I've ever worked with. From start to finish, Meggie and her team were organized, professional and put everyone at ease, even during a blizzard. She also had just the right balance between being directive, yet allowing everyone to give input and make their preferences known. I recommend her !

Meggie is the reason that my wedding was a dream other than my husband, of course. I know nothing of design or logistics of a destination wedding, yet Meggie guided me toward the literal dream wedding. I woke up and never worried about one detail and was able to enjoy my day with zero stress. Choosing Meggie Francisco Events was the best decision we made when planning our wedding! And I'm not being hyperbolic. She was knowledgeable, personable, and was always there to help us navigate decisions with vendors. She walked us through the whole wedding process from planning 9 months out to follow-up with vendors after the wedding to ensure that we got every single thing we wanted. With Meggie, I knew we hadn't forgotten any detail during our wedding planning- and you can imagine all of the details we had with a 300+ guests, multicultural wedding! On my wedding day, I wasn't bothered by thousands of questions/issues because Meggie intercepted them and fixed whatever problems occurred without my knowledge. Our parents were very impressed with her work on the day-of, she was always onto of any situation, family personalities, that arose before it became an issue. She has great relationships with vendors which makes the day-of, even smoother. Everything at our wedding was top notch because of Meggie's guidance, oversight, and resources. I can't say enough about her great work!

Meggie is absolutely incredible. If you have the chance to work with her, don’t hesitate for a moment. It will be the best decision you make when it comes to planning your wedding! Meggie makes planning a wedding FUN! And let me tell you, I was not having fun planning it until I met her. She will ask you all the right questions to understand YOU and your vision. She is so knowledgable in the industry and will give you all the confidence you are making the right planning decisions. When it came to vendors, I always felt I was getting fair quotes because she was there during negotiations; sharing ideas on how we could get exactly what we wanted and cut out what we didn’t need. Outside of getting fair quotes, she made sure the vendors were going to deliver the vision and tone of the wedding. I had a Costa Rica destination wedding, and her ability to speak Spanish really helped with negotiations and vendor communications on this aspect. She reviewed airline restrictions, helped me bring wedding items in her personal travel bags, delivered welcome bags to our guests, she even went on a run to pick up some water bottles to throw in the goody bags. She truly handled everything - floral, welcome dinner, reception, wedding day, scheduling/timing of all vendors for a smooth day, reception, prepping the wedding party, making sure I sent the DJ songs I liked, officiant script... EVERYTHING! We last minute decided to extend the reception 2 hours - the rental crew was onsite with their trucks ready to load up and she somehow kept everyone happy and agreeing to wait for us to finish our party!! And she isn’t just your planner - she was my right hand woman on all things wedding. She helped me pick bridesmaid dresses, wedding invitations, set reminders for me to write thank you cards, designed the website, helped me describe my pallet to a chef for how I wanted food prepped - I mean really, you name it she was right there with me. She would talk with me about wedding stresses and make me feel better about them. I can truly say Meggie has become a friend and someone I continue to stay in touch with on a regular basis. I think absolute hospitality when it comes to Meggie’s services. I feel she invited me into her world of planning and made my wedding absolutely magical. I can truly say when I closed my eyes to envision my wedding, she made it a reality. Being able to refer her name to friends and family is gift in itself.

My mom actually found Meggie back in September of 2016, shortly after my husband and I got engaged. We were very aware that although she is a well-known destination wedding planner and stylist, she had never planned a wedding in Italy before. Naturally, before we made it official, there were doubts. However, from the moment we hired Meggie we had felt an absolute immediate sense of security. There wasn’t a moment that went by that we ever felt this was her first Italian wedding. Aside from her own countless hours of research and preparation, she delivered on every promise she had made. She put together the most outstanding group of vendors and executed the entire event with the utmost professionalism. There was not a single detail that she didn’t think of! After all is said and done, I can sit back and honestly say that Meggie put on the most amazing event that myself, family & friends had ever attended. We have not only gained incredible memories but also a forever friend!!

I have known and worked with Meggie for over five years now. I can say with confidence that if Emily and I were getting married now rather than 11 years ago she would undoubtedly be our choice of planner for too many reasons to list here.
