First time here a couple of nights ago and we had a great experience. I ordered the Godzilla roll which was phenomenal and definitely my favorite part of the dinner. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki dish. The sauce was delicious, however, I found the chicken to be a bit fatty. Everything else ordered was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our food was served hot and quick. The Godzilla roll is addicting, I will definitely be returning here and recommending this place to friends and family!
Visited this place on a whim as it was the top rated sushi place near my hotel. I absolutely loved everything I tried! They even have a huge selection of ramen and curry that I definitely want to try on my next visit! I tried the Watermelon Roll, the Sweet Shrimp Roll and the Giant Shrimp Tempura Roll. I think my favorite was the Sweet Shrimp Roll. The mango slices and mango sauce were so fresh and delicious and really complemented the shrimp! The Giant Shrimp Tempura was a close second. The spicy tuna on top was excellent and had a nice element of spice to it and the shrimp was so juicy and fresh! I can’t wait to go back and try more!
The food was pretty good, I was not disappointed however there are better options available in and outside the city. However the tea was amazing, it was definitely worth every penny. There are a few options for vegetarians which is really nice. The one real negative thing about this restaurant was the waitress was hovering in an aggressive manner. She was constantly around the table even when we didn't need anything and tried to take away the food before we were done and hurriedly gave us the check, it was definitely not a friendly environment to sit down and enjoy a meal.
delicious! the staff was attentive and food was amazing. my friends and i ordered the seafood udon, shrimp teriyaki, romantic roll, shrimp buns, and seafood yaki udon. we all liked our dishes, the noodles in my yaki udon were tender and very yummy. it is an extra dollar for spice which i was unaware of, but it was delicious. the sauce for the yaki udon as well as the teriyaki were both extremely flavorful. i was pleasantly surprised by the shrimp buns, the shrimp pieces used were huge. the romantic roll looked beautiful and tasted pretty good, but i might opt for a more loaded roll next time. will visit again!
i’ve been here for their sushi a couple times. overall, the ambience is nice and the restaurant feels clean. service is quick, if not a bit rushed, and the food is good for its price though i’ve never tried the ramen. however i found a small bug on my salmon during my last visit. i’m not sure if it was there before or after i was served but it was definitely an experience that makes me hesitant to come back.
A fantastic lunch yesterday with one of my close friends. I had the Shrimp teriyaki and rice and she had the salmon teriyaki dish. Ginger salad was great as well. Reasonable prices. Small but cute cafe style restaurant. Very clean and fast service.
Came here visiting for the weekend and the service as super quick. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu and my bf got the spicy miso the spice did not disappoint! And it was very good I highly recommend this place plus they got cute decorations inside
The staff was super friendly and attentive but the food was lacking. The appetizer I ordered was the bbq squid but it was really charred and it tasted like plastic. The main course was the sushi love boat for two and presentation was amazing but the sushi tasted like fridge sushi.. Maybe it was an off day for them because otherwise the place was full and felt super cozy.
If I could give more stars, I definitely would. Very nice and cozy place, we tried two sushi rolls. I would really recommend the Volcano Roll!! I really liked how they pay attention to the details and decorate the plates. Also the prices are very good!
It has its ups and downs. Let's start with the positive. The staff is nice and they have a lovely and clean restaurant. I didn't like their tonkotsu ramen though. Perhaps I came on an off day, but this tonkotsu broth feels like it missed the mark by quite a bit. The broth was way, way too rich and creamy. I'm unsure how they got it to be like this but my guess is either too many pork bones, or it stewed for too long. Either way they went too far. The noodles were ok, I would not call them good but they weren't bad either. Their chashu was pretty good, that much I will admit! Very tender, pretty flavorful. Overall, alright! But I wouldn't come here for their tonkotsu ramen again. I've hit many ramen joints around the world; this place still has room to grow.
