My favorite store and location… I am at this store every day, and am always appreciative that they 98% of the time have what I need in stock, have the friendliest, quickest, and always helpful staff in retail… They may have a slightly higher price than Walmart or ALDI, same as Kroger, but the food quality is at a much higher standard than anyone else… Only complaint I can give them, because nobody is perfect, is the deli could be a little faster at servicing customers… Still deserve 5 stars any day…
Edit: went back again and noticed strangely coloured ketchup, it was expired and on clearance which means they made the intentional decision to sell rotton produce. I only noticed it because it was discoloured so imagine my surprise when I check the ketchup I bought and it's been expired for a year!!! original text: Every other time I've went there over the past several months I've received rotten produce. There were bugs infested in 3 bags of salad and another time my finger went straight into a peach by accident and had nowhere to clean it off. I wanted to keep sorting through the produce too and immediately realized how widespread the rot gets and how easily. Gross.
We love shopping here The only bad thing I can say is that they have converted the majority of check out to self check out. Not a fan with all the stories going around. I prefer regular check out with a real person . If I have a few items it's OK but I don't shop everyday.
DO NOT RELY ON WHATEVER THEIR WEBSITE OR GOOGLE SAYS ABOUT WHETHER AN ITEM IS IN STOCK!! Well, Meijer... I've always thought of you as a generic knock-off of Target but today took the cake. Lots of wasted time and gas to get there and find out a product they had listed as "in stock" was absolutely not.... and it said they had 5 different flavors of this stuff in stock and they had ZERO. Total nightmare. After asking an employee in the store who was of no help I called customer service twice to try and get help finding it. They were no assistance at all either. Where they directed me to had a different item than what I came for. However, they sure did have an excuse for why the website was wrong citing "supply and demand issues". Out of one or 2 flavors, sure, I'd believe it. They just didn't have the stuff in their inventory, period.
Some amazing in-store sales going on right now. This location has a great grocery section with fresh produce and deli. They offer self checkout and pick up from online orders 8:00am-8pm. They currently have a great selection of real Christmas Trees for salein the parking lot.
This location is always clean, including the exterior parking lot areas. I visited on Christmas Eve, and the store was well stocked considering the holiday. Prices are fairly comparable to similar chain stores, but I do spend a bit more at Meijer than Walmart or Kroger. There are a large number of self checkout lanes available, although traditional checkout lanes are just as abundant. You do not find a lack of cashiers at this location as you would at a Walmart.
Prices are a little high but that's anywhere you go these days. Store was clean and shelves were stocked. One stop shop for all your needs. Just wish they had more of a selection of men's running shoes, seen more boots than regular shoes. Kinda of pricey too.
I like shopping here also seems like they all have different products, and really good sales. Plus the employees have good customer service.
Meijers is gone down hill. Everytime I go in there something is broken. The automatic doors on both sides have been broken for sometime now. The lights are out in the parking lot which is a security risk. Only thing that hasn't changed is prices keep going up. How do you raise prices but stor property is broken? Obviously this is not a priority for the customers. So sad to see.
Meijer is still privately owned and operated! The name brand products are good. The store is well organized, stocked and clean. I really like the new self-check out with plenty of stations.
