Great place to shop for your home improvement needs. I was in awe the first visit I had about a month ago. It's like Home depot and Wal Mart had a baby. Almost everything is displayed where you can open it, use it, and feel it. Very customer oriented. I will definitely be returning many more times.
Wow! Do not waste your time with this store! Especially if the store manager Nick is working. He literally cannot do anything except stand there and say “I don’t know.” He apparently doesn’t have a superior manager that he reports to. Also Menard’s, according to Nick, sends you a notification via LETTER IN THE MAIL that your special order item is in store. Haha and asks you to submit a letter of complaint via FAX! He is a Flat our liar because the same store called my father to let him know his special order item was in! Also their customer service options are a joke! I am pretty sure my 7 year old could leave a more clear and well laid out voicemail than the only number for corporate Menards has! Customer service hides behind emails and will not speak to you via phone. Also.. the generic response to this complaint doesn’t offer any form of email to seek assistance with the company! Take your hard earned money and precious time elsewhere!! They won’t get another dime from my pocket! This company is a joke and a scam!
The people are great The selections are good the process is kind of all screwed up. Meaning that if you want to buy lumber you got to go back to these desk and order it then go out front and pay for it then go to the rear and pick it up. Other than that I like the place. I recommend if you're getting lumber like me to purchase it through the app so then you only have to go to the guard shack and go through so much easier.
Huge store with about anything and everything you'll ever need for your home or business. Helpful and knowledgeable staff always available to help you with questions, tips and suggestions about product selection and installation. Competitive prices and rebate offers helps save money on any project.
Always like shopping there but don't have to that often as I don't need hardware or materials of the like. However; this particular visit I was looking for a slow cooker carrying bag but they did not have one. The staff was helpful in helping me look for one though and that's a plus.
With in stock parts this store is awesome with the best selection and prices around. However, I ordered a custom kitchen cabinet, and delivery was estimated at about 40 days. They contacted me 35 days later and told me it was complete and ready to ship. Then over the next 3 months i was contacted 7 different days that i had to stay home from work to be there all day for delivery window. Every time they never showed. Finally about 3 months late they call again and said they tried to deliver it on a day that was not scheduled and no one was home. I demanded that they stay there while i left work for the 8th time to receive it. Needless to say this nightmare cost me far more in lost wages than the $850 i paid for the custom cabinet.
I went in today and felt completely comfortable due to the fact they were making people wear face masks. Unlike other places, Menards make people follow the rules they have in place unlike Walmart, Kroger, etc.. Thank you for this policy. If you don't wanna follow the rules its simple, stay away go somewhere else.
Best big hardware/grocery/everything you need store. Excellent prices! Wonderful customer service. We love Menards.
Great yard staff in Jeffersonville, I had a playground lumber pick up and there were plenty of employees ready and willing to help load. The best staff I've seen in any Menards and I've been in several.
I ordered a $4000 dollar garage door, which had a 20 week lead time. Before ordering, I asked an associate in the millwork department if they could hold the door if we were not ready. I was told that would not be a problem. Fast forward...I arrived at Menards to pick-up my door and they couldn't not locate it. The front end manager was able to determine that I never picked it up. Obviously because I was there then. He passed me off to another associate in millwork to try an search one last time. It was not located. He offered to reorder or refund. I told him that I wanted to see if I could get it from Lowe's or Home Depot faster. I came back in the following weekend to request a refund. This is where I had the pleasure sarcasm of dealing with the General Store Manager, Nick, to resolve my issues. He was not able to do anything i.e. find my order in the system. He told me that he would have to call corporate. He said the door probably got "liquidated" since I didn't pick it up. I asked why didn't you call. His response was that we don't call, we send emails. This was a bold faced lie because my father-in-law did the exact thing as me and they called him multiple times phone numbers and voicemails to prove it. Today, I got an email from the store manager giving me two options: 1. Reorder the door and try to expedite the 18-20 week lead time, but no guarantees. 2. Refund the money with a 25% re-stocking fee. Basically, I settle with giving up $1,000 for a mistake that Menards made. Restocking? There is nothing to restock. The door is not in my hands or Menards. What is there to restock? I have now requested the district manager's contact information to hopefully bring resolution. If that doesn't work, I will proceed to contact the Indiana Attorney General's office and the BBB. It this doesn't work, other measures will be sought. If someone pays $4000 for a garage door, then they want it. When I placed the order, I gave ALL my information i.e. phone number, email address, etc.. They were too lazy to call. I am building a house and planned on purchasing several items from the store, but I guess I will take my business somewhere else. Oh and let's not forget about the nonexistent customer service department...All complaints must be in writing. This store is a joke and so is the leadership. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot, unless you like money STOLEN from you. Their sales model is all sales are final, no matter the circumstances or issues they created
