I'm in store waiting for an alteration to be made that already should've been done. I asked multiple times to tailor my pants to include suspender buttons, but that wasn't done. I guess they're fine with making people wait in their store. Not that acceptable for what should be a high end experience. The store manager gave good service when I went in at first to try on the suit.
Couldn't find anything in my suit size and taste. 48-50 jacket 42 waist. I like pleated front. That's was the biggest problem. So I decided to go custom, 4 weeks they said... However on the 4 week time frame, there is only one fabric available... On the other fabrics, it's 8 weeks, and it gets to the price range of a personal tailor. So, why go to Men's Wearhouse when I can have a tailor come to my home or business to make me the right suit? At the same price? With dedicated personal service... MW is good for a quick suit if you have the body that fits their frame...
Third strike and Men’s warehouse is out of my life! A year or so ago I bought few suits and shirts....paid 3 k. They said they would called when pants are ready as pants needs to be tailored. Call never happened, so after while I went there by myself. I got my merchandise and when I got home I realized that from 3 pants each one of them was tailored different length. One I had to take to a local tailor to redo. This time again....they will call back when my merchandise arrive as they had to order it, of course no call, no email ...nothing. So after two weeks of waiting I had to go again on my own to see where is the merchandise I paid for. They said one has arrived and one more still has to come and that this time they WILL call me. Of course two more weeks passed so I went to the store again on my own. And this time after 10-15 min looking onto rack and then into register screen they told me that the item was canceled!!?!?!? They don’t know who or why but it was cancelled and no one thought to give me a courtesy of calling me and letting me know. So if I wouldn’t come they would just kept the money and played dumb? And that when I asked for the reimbursement they said that it will be given back to the card with the last 4 number on the card which doesn’t even match with the card I used for that purchase l, matter of fact I don’t even have the card with sickly numbers?!?!? So now I have to go trough hell contacting my bank, maybe canceling the card and doing investigation if I’ll even get money back! With such a strong online presence one would think that physical stores would learn how important customer service is! And btw...the motto Buy one get one free is worthless if the first suit is 150% overpriced For the price of their acrylic suit you can get 100% wool suit online!
Prices are OK. But the service was the way every clothing store should. Very professional and patient people work here. I was looking for few new shirts and I found everything I needed. They weren't pleased that I asked to try all of them but I guess that it can be annoying to fold everything after someone try so many shirts. The place is clean and well organized, and makes you feel that you entered a serious store that respect itself. I am happy that I found this store.
I've always had really good service here. The quality of their merchandise is really good, nice selection. I have gotten tuxedo alterations, ordered shirts, bought a couple blazers all different visits to this location and there are always more than enough employees on the clock to help.
This is a Men's Warehouse an "everyman's tailor" that tries to be an upscale UES clothing store. As such, it fails at both. In short, this is a store that will absolutely judge customers based on appearance. If one does not look "high end", if one goes shopping in say Levi's and a decent shirt, one will not receive good service. Perhaps this biased attitude brings some of the high end business, but it certainly discourages everyone else. On two occasions, I have visited the store to get a couple of pairs of mid-range light wool pants. On both occasions, I felt the service sub par and condescending. On the other hand, if one enters the store with sufficient trappings of wealth, it is amazing what the staff in the usually largely empty store will do to make the sale. Thus, and additionally while the store keeps the truly high end merchandise in stock, the more affordable options had to be ordered from the warehouse 7-10 business days. This meant a total of three trips for two pairs of pants on both occasion. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this morning, I saw a young black man come in to buy an off the rack, plain black suit that he needed tomorrow. He was told that the minor alterations could not be made. He politely handed back the suit that he had already tried on and all. I was really bothered by this; there are two reasons that someone needs a suit the next day: either an unexpected gig of some sort, or a funeral. No one asked him the reason for his request, or offered any sort of special provision. It was rather painful to watch. Suffice to say that I won't be back to this branch again. Hope this is not indicative of the rest of the chain these days. I don't usually write negative reviews, and probably wouldn't have written this one.
I cannot emphasize this enough: do NOT go here. Their tailoring service is terrible, unorganized, and unprofessional. Sure, the quality of their merchandise is good, but their service, although initially enticing, is just god-awful. My one experience involved them losing both my suits, and as a result, I had no suit to wear when i needed it most. Again: do NOT go here.
Very unwelcoming place made me feel uncomfortable and stress out. Went to buy a new suit for a upcoming job interview. The worker at the store brought me out a 700 dollar suit. When I explained my price range the worker became very rude and uninterested in helping me. I then left this store and visited Jos A Banks where a nice and professional woman who works for Jos A Banks name Josie help me and made me feel better. She pick out a nice slim fit navy blue suit for 200 bucks. Men wear house store is a rip off. Would not be surprised if the store will be out of business soon. Buyer Beware
Excellent job. I can't imagine being a tuxedo rental company or rental car company because only the upset people right reviews But I'm here to tell you I had a great experience from the operators on the phone in Houston to Mr Vernon who helped me tailor my rental that much more and Mr Ahmed for tailoring it in one hour.
Hands down my worst ever experience with customer service ... they screwed up the fitting completely, and also were completely late in doing it, after we made crystal clear we had a wedding to attend by a given date. It gave the feeling that all they had time to care about was the sale, and once that was done, they had absolutely no time nor concern for the fitting or service. Good deals, but not worth the suffering.
