Located on the Esplanade between Liberty and Albany streets in NYC, Merchant’s River House is an upbeat, casual and family-friendly restaurant offering great views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy the American bistro experience, with tasty, affordable food served in a unique and gorgeous setting. Boasting over 200 seats, including both indoor dining and two outdoor terraces, Merchant’s River House is the perfect setting for enjoying the sunset over the Hudson.

Our menu consists of tasty and affordable American fare, from our famous hand-made burgers, pasta and salads to organic chicken, prime rib, steaks and seafood. Enjoy our full bar, with a variety of draft and bottled beer, wine and specialty cocktails. We also have a great selection just for kids, including mac and cheese, chicken fingers and a variety of vegetables.

***Please note in our Hours of Operation that Friday and Saturday the bar closes at 12 a.m. while the kitchen closes at 10:30***
