Story

The Merion Village Association was founded by a group of neighborhood residents in 1985. The Association meets the first Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7:15 PM at St. Pauls UCC basement, 225 E. Gates Street. All interested parties, members or not, are welcome to attend.

The Association is a diverse group of concerned and active residents of the historic neighborhood known as Merion Village. The Association, which meets monthly, seeks to engage residents in activities that can assist in improving the lives of those within the neighborhood and to encourage friendships and goodwill among members and neighbors.

Mission

The Mission of the Merion Village Association is to create a safe, clean and friendly place to live by implementing ideas, events and strategies that are for the good of all residents, businesses and visitors, while maintaining the historical value of the neighborhood.

PLEASE NOTE: The Merion Village Association works to promote positivity and productive collaboration throughout our community through our meetings, events, initiatives, website and social media accounts. Accordingly, we will not promote or allow information or comments on any official Merion Village page that are not positive and/or productive. All posts and comments that are negative or seek to harass, slander and/or prejudice those in our community will be removed. The Merion Village Association is a great group of neighborhood VOLUNTEERS who care about their community. They accomplish a lot even though its completely a volunteer run association. When neighbors have issues they can email the board or join a monthly meeting and share their issue - prompting other neighbors to give advice or next steps. I have made some really great friends being involved over the years. I encourage you to explore the website and facebook group and join us at an event soon! We are better together!
Great neighborhood organization.
Great Garden Tour!
