Metal Supermarkets Minneapolis (Burnsville)

I work at a shop less than a mile away. I order a few times a month from them and more often than not they give me the wrong materials. Today was a perfect example, I ordered 6ft of 3/4" .065 wall 5052 aluminum tubing and they sent 3/4" .065 304 stainless steel tubing. This place has become a joke since corporate bought it out 5 months ago. Before then I could not find a better place to buy from. The people that ran it were truly amazing and always put the customer first. Now I get better service at the DMV. Going to have to start driving to discount steel in north Minneapolis for our materials now.

Friendly but checkout took ten minutes for four pieces of short scrap. Instead of just charging by the pound (like Garlick steel) they had to look up each piece and charge by the foot. A waste of my time and their employees. Expect checkout to be a test of patience.

Purchased steel, was told it would be available in 1.5 hours. Drove 45 miles to come back. Steel was not cut. Waited an extra .5 hours to buy qty 3 3/4" angle iron Staff's give a damm is busted. Never going back

Got charged 50$ for scrap piece of steel flat stock 1/8 inch 15x10. Way overpriced service was bad.
