Metcalfe's Market

I got chuck roast beef for 5.99 lb. Got approximately $16 worth of it. Came with 1 lb potatoes, 1 lb baby carrots, and 1 lb onions for free from the newspaper deal. It's going to be a awesome night. Water refills at .49¢ a gallon.

I regularly shop here. The prices can be a bit elevated but the produce and the deli are very good. They also have an outstanding butcher and a very knowledgeable Cheese Monger

I do not live in the area therefore I do not shop here. However needed to stop on my way somewhere to get something...WOW This store is fabulous! Great variety and outstanding customer service when asking where to find some! Wish we had this star in our neighborhood New Berlin, WI!!!

From the Wauwatosa store we got a Delicious Chocolate bday cake January 2nd a day when most bakeries in town were closed! They even wrote a fun well done message on top of the cake! I recommend it an we will be back! Thank you.

Most of my photos of Metcalf's are of their very tasteful and elegant liqour section. It truly is beautiful. The ambience drew me to it right away. Before I went there I notice very gorgeous floral arrangements in the floral department. As I perused these areas I took many photos. I thought a layout this organized and elegant should be shown for people to see so that can come and view what Metcalf's has to offer their customers. Apparently I was over ambitious. Just as I finished with the liqour department a security member approached me and asked what I was doing. I explained that I was a volunteer Local Google Maps Guide and what that entails. He was concerned that I might be "part of the competition." Another way of saying that is "Corporate Espionage." I'm familiar with this problem and it absolutely occurs. However I wouldn't be that obvious if I were engaging in that type of activity, I'm way smarter than that. So security asked me to leave and escorted me out of the building! They really don't understand the impact that Local Guides have on any given place. Pictures especially!! I would think they would want people to see what they have to offer. I would have loved to photographed the rest of Metcalf's; it is a very nice place.

Great quality and selection of meat. There is also a butcher counter. Excellent deli. Prices for regular groceries non-sale items seem to be a bit higher than other places.

Great store to find your specialty needs. Great staff willing to help! I will stop again even though it is not near to me. Grab lunch or dinner, lots of hot and cold Choices that look inviting.

Only place in town to find Old Dutch puff corn. I have been shopping there for almost 20 years. Brand new deli, bakery and artisan cheese. I also found the holiday Miller Champagne bottle for only $2.99. Thank you Sentry!!!

An attempt at a somewhat upscale grocery shopping experience..and is, as far as aesthetic and assistance provided by the *grocery* staff. If you need help finding something, they are happy to walk you to said item; instead of leaving you to find it on your own, which is nice... however, the customer service provided by the cashiers/front end always leaves something to be desired. Just my experience.

I live in Houston but when I'm in town visiting family in the area, I love doing my shopping here. Great selection and the staff are all very friendly. Mary is a cashier there and she is always so lovely when I visit. I thoroughly enjoy all of the local items that I can't get in Houston and conversations with Mary each and every time!
