What are we doing here at this store? How does any manager allow this place to get as trashed as it does as frequently as it does? Every time I'm in here almost daily there's something somewhere that should've been cleaned up long ago. I check the sports cards in the back almost daily to keep an eye on what's selling and what isn't and it's clear there's a theft problem back there with boxes and packs being opened and cards scattered all over regularly. These issues are so frequent that it's simply not possible that store management is unaware that it's happening. If the team isn't proactively doing anything about this stuff, I'm sure that's a top level leadership problem as well. Few Walmarts get this trashy, and that's saying something.
Been in many stores similar but I have to say, Meijer by the Mayfair collection is clean, organized, and extremely friendly. Some of the best prescription prices around too!!! And even a few oddity books
Wonderful Variety and Easy access from I-41. Recommend will visit again
Seems like every time I go between 5pm and 8pm there are NO CASHIERS. The only option is self checkout. I've spoken to management before about this. The last email I received from the store manager assured me she always has her employees working and I was then led to think I must have encountered a fluke all the times no cashiers were available. No . I frequent that store regularly and once again it happened. Numerous people stop by this location when getting off work. I had been shopping for over an hour and half - had about 2 weeks worth of groceries, some cleaning items, toiletries, and paper products. My budget was 300 and I was close to that limit. I get to the front to check out and guess what?!?!?! NO CASHIERS. NOT A SINGLE ONE. Long, extensive lines snaking down the aisles for self check out. Were employees present? Oh yeah, 2 were holding up the customer service desk, talking. A few were hanging out around store - also talking. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean or even better - run a register! And if they are on break, they do not need to be on the floor. I walked up and down the line of closed cash registers in bewilderment, asking "anyone working?" Nope. Not a soul. What did I do? Left my cart in the middle of the floor and walked out. If you want me to sit there and self check out almost $300 worth of items, you better be giving me a hefty discount. Clean your parking lot and store too.
Want to find some good deals than you should check out the clearance items, plus you find a lot of mark downs in the vegetable and lettuce sections.
I was not valued as a team player, even though I stopped shoplifters and loved what I did. I made sure that I showed up on time and did my best to do my job. Management at times put me and co workers at risk, was bullied at times for going over management head for safety violations not being taken seriously. Sent MCTS workers there due to great prices and to my dismay, I was told that they were treated poorly and they will not shop there again.
I really want to support this store, as it's close to home and you can get a wide variety of items in one trip. However, I spend more time in the check out lines than I do shopping the actual store. There is normally ONE cashier open on the weekends and none open during the busiest weeknights after 5pm. It's inconvenient to check out an entire cart load in the self check-out lanes which are also insanely long. I never do my large grocery trip here anymore as this has happened on every occasion I have visited and I head to Aldi down the road.
First time there to pick up a special spice to take overseas to our son. Website said they have it in stock but nothing in the location. Looked up and down aisles and no help available. Left without buying anything. Seems likeca Walmart or Target store. Not going back. Only plus was parking was ample and lighting inside was good. I was able to order the spice on line with free 2 day delivery at almost same cost.
I was in an open line but the cashier didn't show up, so I went to where I saw a working cashier and she explained that she was helping her by being her bagger. Team work makes the dream work. Great store great service and very friendly staff and CLEAN store!! Liza B.
They have an awesome deli with some unique Sara Lee lunch meats that I can't find anywhere else but for whatever reason the deli service is unbelievably slow. Not sure if it's the set up or the people but it takes forever to get a few items.
