Metro Swim Shop

This is the absolute worst company and I can not believe NJ Swimming contracts with them to do anything. I purchased and paid for a JO jacket at the very first JO weekend of the season and was told it would be delivered to me within 2 weeks. Somehow my order got put in a batch of back orders when this company brought the same exact jacket that I ordered to the JO session the very next weekend. Do not ever trust a single word anyone from this company tells you and if you have to order something, count on it taking no less than 3 months. Their customer service is absolutely useless and no one that knows any information ever calls you back.

While the store has plenty of options and varieties, my experience was clouded by the fact that I drove over an hour, with a friends younger daughter. After I got there, after stating the what i was looking for, I asked politely if i could quickly, urgently, use the restroom., The people at the counter refused and I was then directed to the supermarket aprox 2 blocks away , which ended up being an over 5 min walk( I am a woman in my 50's, I asked twice) . After finally coming back to the store, I was so put off, disappointed , not to mention , very embarrassed that after the basic transaction was complete ( exchange) , I did not stick around to leisurely browse around and make a purchase, as I had intended for the afternoon.

Bought practice jammers and snorkel online. All items came on time and their discounts and free shipping is really great. Very easy to find products on the website too.

Poor professional assistance. Went for goggles: the first time was just suggested, "this goggle works for everybody (aqua sphere)", you will be fine. After purchasing the $38 goggle it did not seal for me and anti-fog did not work well. Went back and this time actually was shown several different models to try the seal - was recommended a $24 goggle (aqua sphere again). Again, this one leaks as well. Return policy is if it touches water, no return - so am now out $62 on lousy professional assistance and still no goggle that works. Pretty clear the owner does not care how the store works.

They were selling apparel at a Championship swim meet last weekend. Horrible service, rude. I had to wait in line 90 minutes to purchase items. The cashier was horrible.
