I'm going to begin this with the fact that I never, ever leave reviews unless it's somewhere that was exceptional and deserved a better rating than it had. I came to this location to buy two phones for my teenage children. They'd either lost or broken theirs and quite frankly, they didn't deserve super fancy, expensive replacement phones. I went online and saw that they offered a free 4g super cheap option for $65/month. I thought, "this is perfect" and stopped on my way to work, hoping to pop in and pop out. I was in at the door at 10am when they opened and kindly asked the employee working Ash, for two of their cheapest options. He pulled out a Google phone, leading me to believe that it was the cheapest option. It was not. I opened the website and showed him the phone I had seen online, but he persisted saying "no, no, no, this is the cheapest" many times. After quite some time, he pulled from under the counter the actual cheapest option i had seen on their website free with a new line, which is what I'd been asking for, and tried vigorously to convince me that it's not what I wanted. After showing me this phone, which was supposed to be free with a new line their most expensive line is $60/mo, he told me the total would be $380. My mind about exploded. That's more than I'd have paid if I got a quality replacement phone with Verizon. I thanked him and told him nevermind, and then turned to leave. He got VERY huffy and said "what do you want to pay?" I told him that I had expected to pay at the MOST, $240 for both phones, and his response was: "Fine, because you are my first customer, I will do this for you" and he slid a piece of paper over to me, where he'd written $250. I just needed a way to reach my kids in an emergency and was going to be late for work, so I said that's fine and he set them up. The moral of the story is that these employees ARE MOST CERTAINLY PAID COMMISSIONS and could give a rat's behind about their customers. He laughed in my face whenever I referenced information found on their website and spoke to me as if I was a 5 year old attempting to understand an algebra equation. Pretty bummed out about this whole experience.
I went there to check out their free tablet deal. The gentleman ash loves to lie and upsell everyone. Sold me 4 tablets when I only needed one then refused to take them back. Saying all sales final after activating them all when I didn't ask them to. I wouldn't go to any of the north Portland stores as their employees only care about money than the customer. I've seen a few people walk out of the store fuming mad.
It’s always a nightmare going to this Metro!! They supposedly give you discounts, but they end up charging you other stuff , or not giving you all the information.. this is the last time am coming to their store, if they come up with other stuff on my bill !!! Am moving to cricket.
There's this guy working there who doesn't even know what to do. I went in to ask about their promotion and he asked for my phone number. That's not right! Then he kept asking his coworker how to do stuff. What a loser!
Completely expected they would try n upsale !!!!!8<>5 they try and trick you into thinking that your going to getta free I phone that by the way my friend wasn't even impressed with to begin with and didn't want sure you can walk out of there with an iPhone and an iPhone payment on top of it lucky you very slimy feeling it felt like the employer being sleazy trying to get sales saying things like this deal is only good today you won't get an upgrade tomorrow if you wait you can't get the upgrade which is just not true anyways I don't particularly love that one location but it's up the street from my house so it's conveniently located I just don't love the staff they're very muchuuù but that's my problem I guess I don't have to go in there I can go to a different one it'd just be nice if it was a great one then I could go in there whenever I felt like it and not feeling comfortable
I consistantly recieve superior service & assistance from THIS BRANCHH OF METRO PHONE SERVICE - These People are extremely Helpful ALways - THANKYOU VERY MUCH ! ! !
Roy was awesome! He really helped me out. I appreciate his thoroughness and know how. You're in good hands with Roy.
Wanted to upgrade my phone. If I had wanted to, an ECO ATM probably would have given me a few bucks for it. However, the first phone I was shown was smaller, had less storage space, and was a make and model I don't care for. Keep in mind that I requested nothing super fancy. It needed to do what my current phone did. So anyway, it boiled down to paying them $70 for the upgrade and $20 to relieve me of the burden of my current phone. I left but came back a few days later. I purchased a SIM card for $10 . The sales lady was attentive... until a few other people came in. I was hurried along, assured my receipt was in my bag. When I got home, no receipt.
The ladies here were awesome, so helpful with starting our services and taking care of our needs!! Thank you
Got there asking if they had the moto g stylus, they said yes that they would check. And I waited 15 dawn minutes for a simple, "yes we have the phone", or "no we don't", and when those 15 minutes of waiting were up, the girl there took no les than a minute Checking in the back and told me they did have the phone. Then when my mom came in to the store to get her the phone, 2 minutes later. The other lady there told us they were going to help us in about 45 minutes. What a waste of time. I will say that the first girl who helped me was very ver kind. The other one, not so much.
