Metropolitan Pediatrics New York City P.C.

Really disappointed in this practice. We moved here to follow Dr. Gervais when West Park Medical closed and always disappointed. We can never get in for an appointment when the hours are until 8:00 PM. I visit City MD for everything. Love Dr. Gervais, but honestly never see her now since we've moved to this practice. ALWAYS a different doctor. I just called the office to see if my son can be seen as suspect an ear infection, but cannot be seen (again hours are until 8PM). So, now he'll be going to City MD again. So sad!!

We recently relocated to UWS. We wanted to try a new pediatrician that's closer. Metropolitan Pediatrics was recommended to us when I gave birth at Mt Sinai West, so I thought we would give it a try. We went in earlier this week for my son's constipation. Our experience was so awful. It was mainly because of the doctor we saw. I believe her name is Dr. Narain who is not listed on their Website. She was very unfriendly. She didn't look at my son at all during the entire visit. I tried to explain to her what he's been eating and what has worked and what has not worked. She was not interested in hearing anything I had to say. She seemed upset toward the end of the conversation. At the end she just wrapped it up abruptly and left the office. We used to go to Tribeca Pediatrics in both Chelsea and Tribeca locations and we've seen at least three different doctors. We were very pleased with all of them. Maybe if we saw Dr. Sasala or another doctor at Metropolitan Pediatrics, our experience would have been better, but at this point I don't even want to go back to this clinic.

We've been taking our beloved 3 year old there since birth. We've yet to have a bad experience there. We were referred by a friend because of a certain doctor they had who is no longer there. We still prefer this office and have had multiple doctors see our child. They are all well informed, courteous, and down to earth. All of the doctors are great in communicating with our child directly which in turn helps them make the correct diagnosis. Something I've noticed over The years. The office is always clean, nurses and receptionist are always a pleasure to deal with. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

Always courteous...dr. Burke is the best. Always takes her time with us and always available for questions.

Sometimes you need them to be a little more alarmist and trust you when you say something is wrong.
