Big Apple Pediatrics: Cathy L. Ward, M.D.

Dr. Ward is the best pediatrician that I know. We have been with her for the last 10 years since my son was born. She was the first pediatrician we ever saw and followed her to her new practice. She is very calm and respectful she always takes her time with each individual. You can call her with any issue and she always has a calm way to letting you know that everything will be alright, even when it is life threatening. I have referred her to all my friends and family members and travel from afar just to see her. I would never leave her. We look forward to seeing her for our annuals and come prepared with questions that she is always willing to answer. There is hardly ever a long wait and if there is a short wait it is worth it because she will take that same time and dedication with you.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Ward since she was a newborn in the hospital and I can't be more happier to have been referred to her by close friend. She is the best doctor I have ever come across and I travel sort of far to her. I refuse to go to any other pediatrician for my daughter as she is always right with her advise and diagnosis. I am so thankful for Dr. Ward. Her and her staff are amazing!

I first met Dr. Ward 6 years ago when I gave birth to my daughter. I immediately fell in love with her caring demeanor! She became my daughters pediatrician no questions asked. Unfortunately I lost my insurance and was unable to keep taking my daughter to her. Recently I enrolled in a plan she partipates with and didn’t hesitate to schedule an appointment. For over a year now, my daughter has had a skin condition. I’ve taken her to two pediatricians, an allergist and a dermatologist. None of them were able to tell me what was wrong. After countless hours, missed days from school and work, so much money spent on prescriptions we still didn’t know what the condition was. It took one visit and one look by Dr. Ward. She immediately knew what it was, gave us literature, explained it to my daughter and I in detail and we finally knew what was going on. Dr. Ward is amazing! There tends to be a bit of a wait when you go see her, but it’s totally worth it! After all she’s only one person and there is such a high demand for her! You won’t find a better pediatrician and it’s no wonder she has so many loyal patients. We are so happy to be able to come back to her office and now that there is a new addition to the family, he’ll be seeing her too!

They made me wait in this small space with noisy children without wifi for at least one hour and that made me miss another thing.

The beat pediatrcian thus far! My daughters father had a bad experience the day before with a previous doctor elsewhere and today i took the day off to find my daughter had her lymph nodes inflamated and required antibiotics. Something not mentioned the day before with previous doctor! Dr. WARd is very detail and thorough. I was so impressed i wish she was my doctor. I couldn't be happier! More years to come with DR. ward in good and bad .
