Mex On Main

Edit 5/12/18: Prices have gone up, portions and quality down. If your desperate with Mexican and don't mind prices that far exceed the product quality then give it a go. It's not terrible and the people are friendly, but you're really going to wish you drove a town over afterwards. I really wanted to love a Mexican place in town. For those familiar with Senior Salsa (La Salsa) in Fairfield it's similar to them but a step down in variety and flavor. I would recommend giving them a try however for my personal tastes the food seem to be seasoned for the least common denominator. You're not going to find much spice (and I'm not talking about very spicy either). The nachos are a bright spot and surprisingly I thought the ground beef was far better than the chicken and steak options. The burritos lack the customization that many have become accustomed to in quick service. Overall it's worth trying, however if you love this style of food (Mexican, Southwest, etc) just have tempered expectations.

Mex on main is a decent Mexican restaurant. The menu isn’t expansive but what they make is pretty good. The portions on a few of the meals could be a little better. If they matched their portion size to their similar style like senor salsa.

Not very clean. Food isn't that good. When we asked the girl at the counter to change her gloves before touching our food she said No. I would not recommend this place at all!

When Mex on Main first opened, the food was fresh, salsa bar plentiful, and the staff friendly...today I took my son to a late lunch (3:30-ish) and there was one lady working. We were handed four cups for the salsa bar, my Cali shrimp tacos were undercooked (felt slimy), she forgot my sons drink, and then the lady turned off the music and proceeded to YELL in Spanish for about three minutes at someone on the phone....I think someone was late for their shift? She put the music back on and then started yelling in Spanish again... Made my son and I very uncomfortable...there was one other patron who looked just as surprised...don’t think we’ll be back

It wasn't the worst thing ever. Overpriced for what it is, very basic and bland salsas, food was quick
