Really great food. But has been a couple of times when i call for pick up food and by the time I pick up the person who took my order, actually did not put my order. So it is really upsetting and frustrating because if we are at work lunch time is wasted and if i have to do diligencies everything becomes a mess and do double the work. I get there is a busy time but that happens when people do not pay attention to things just because they want to finish their shift and affects the customer service.
This place charges their drink specially their coffee differently everyday, they charge depending on the look today I was charge for a small coffee 3 dollars with a super small coffee that with two sips is done, I called and and ask later on and they told me it cost 2.50. They also ask if you would like to tip. they should ask that question only if they are serving you a drink to go. A tip should be voluntarily
I ordered the Central American breakfast and it was not fresh! It was canned refried beans and bagged tortillas. The avocado is not hass it’s the large water ones. The crème was sour cream and not anywhere Central American. The pan de queso was salty and stinky cheese taste. The Plato topico was not tasty at all. The meat had no flavor and tasted bloody. Coffee was straight up milk. Over all this was extremely expensive for two breads, 1 coffee, one breakfast, one tipico plate, and one soda. They charged us $50!!!! I’ve had Colombian food and this is not authentic or the best in east Boston for sure.
eat there hard chiken to eat no tasty bean and the price is high for the food never go back again tgere
Would I recommend this place? Only to my enemies. I ordered a few empanadas and some pan de bono and they really tried to rip me off. The chick behind the counter really said $30 for mediocre Colombian street food. I personally didn’t go for myself but for a friend who has zero taste buds. For better quality of food I recommend El Peñol but heads up good food comes with slow service.
The nicest people there the food was very good and the breakfast was amazing
Bomb food and good people a big change from before!!!! Great Job management!!!
The service in this place is horrible, I don't understand how people think treating customers like they do will make a difference. They always have an attitude against others even when it's their fault and have done something wrong with your order. They could at least apologize and understand that if they did something wrong you won't be happy with their service. Would not recommend this place, its horrible and the food aint even that good.
I don't know much about Colombian food, and all I got was a ham and cheese sandwich with sides, but it was all delicious. I got what I think the lady called a cheese ball, that was like a barely sweet spherical donut that was great, and the churro and horchata were great, too.
This place has been in business for more than 10 years, how? This is something I can't explain. The level of cleanliness leaves a lot to the imagination, dirty floor, dirty dishes piled on the counter, and tables that need a good scrubbing. After 10 years, I walked in to buy some buñuelos. Well, one bite was enough for me to know these buñuelos were hard as a football, the dough was grainy, and the price was expensive. I hate to throw food away, but eating them would be more disastrous to my body. I know how buñuelos should taste like, and this restaurant will not see my money ever again. With so many Colombian people in the area, including myself, it is a shame that the quality of our cuisine in this place is being slashed to pieces-and not good pieces.
