Miami Beach Municipal Parking Garage

Update, PAY WHEN YOU EXIT ONLY, I PAID WHEN I WALKED TO THE CAR, AND ELEVATOR WAS NOT WORKING SO HAD TO WALK, 18 MINUTES WHILE I PACKED ALL BACK PACKS IN THE CAR. AT THE EXIT WAS CHARGED EXTRA $2, THEY GIVE YOU 10 MINUTES TO EXIT. BUT HOW? ELEVATOR NOT WORKING, PACKING STUFF IN THE CAR. SO, STAYED 20 HOURS FOR $22 STILL GOOD, BUT 10 MIN TO EXIT IS SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! Parking is the cheapest in this neighborhood. Will not find cheaper PARKING than this One. I GUARANTEE!!! $1 PER HOUR UP TO 15 HOURS Up to 15 HOURS=$15 15 HOURS UP TO 24 HOURS $20 BEST PRICE ON SOUTH BEACH!!!

We were staying in the area and this was the closest parking garage we could find when we first arrived. There were always spaces readily available and the employees were very helpful when we needed them. It's very close to the beach, and I found pricing to be completely reasonable. I come from Memphis and to park close to Beale Street you have to pay at least a $30. The pricing here is a dollar per hour until you get to 15 and then it's $20 up to 24 hours. The garage also looked very clean in the areas where we were.

I was sitting in my car on the rooftop level and then a car alarm starts going off about 5 cars away from mine. I look over and there is 2 people running. The car alarm went off for about 10 minutes and nobody ever came. When I got to the bottom there was 2 or 3 security guards just chilling talking to each other. I let them know and then they called the police. Your car is not safe here.

Fantastic deal on weekdays, as of my visit April 2018, rate is $1/hour, the entrance is off of Collins around the corner on 13th.

Its a cheap place to park but the elevator doesnt work and walking up and down the stairs you get a very distinct smell of urine. I do like the fact that you park very close to the beach and I noticed a active security team patrolling the area. Other than that its not the best.
